  • Really inspiring! Good job!
  • Wow! You got like 15 - 20 years younger! You look great, some truly motivational pictures :D
  • Next time, put them under each other. Great job by the way!
  • I saw the first episode of Revolutions, it seems quite entertaining. Like Walking Dead without zombies.
  • Here in Norway, most schools don't offer lunches at all. Kids bring their own lunches, usually a sandwich that is made of two slices of dark bread and some cheese/nutella/jam, usually made by the kid herself. They get free fruit at school and the parents can pre pay a small carton of milk for them. They are not allowed to…
  • I started c25k at 220 pounds. I made sure to go to a running shoe store first, to get proper shoes for me. And I've had no trouble with my joints. As the program builds up the intensity slowly, your body gets used to running and you will manage more. If you are really really concerned, go and talk to a doctor. Ran 25 mins…
  • I've eaten 30 - 40 grams cereal for months, usually mixed with some fruit. Try it out a couple of days and see how it goes. I have personally found that how much I eat does not matter that much on how long I am full. 30 grams cereal will keep me full as long as 90 grams.

  • Wow! What a great motivation for eating healthy :D And South Africa sounds like a great place to go on holiday. I doubt I save anything by buying food thats good for me, as these kinds of food are usually more expensive than the fries and cookies. It's still worth it though!
  • Give him goals and let him get the satisfaction of reaching those goals - the most motivating thing that is. Start it up with easy stuff, and make the goals harder to reach as he progresses.
  • I do both and find that running is the best for cardio, but swimming is the best for general muscle workout. When I put in 30 mins of each exercise in the calorie counter here, moderate running burns 423 cals and moderate swimming 296 cals. I'd reccomend working out in various forms though
  • Mine is open, but as I live in an non-english speaking country, I usually log the food in my language - it won't make much sense to most of you guys. I like to look in other peoples diary to get meal ideas, especially for lunch as I usually eat crispbread with cream cheese and fruit/yoghurt for lunch (under 200 cals).
  • I've found that the PS sensors have gotten more responsive. I had some problems with the kickups and running in the beginning, but now it registers fine. (Or maybe it's I that have gotten better at moving?) I still cannot do mountain climbers! Maybe I'll try holding onto a table next time.
  • I was debating myself a long time about getting a scale or not, I ended up getting a cheap basic one. It is frustrating when I don't loose for a week, or when my weight fluctuates 2 - 4 pounds up and down, so I've ended up looking at the weightloss graph here on mfp to see my overall weightloss rather than rely on the…

  • Isn't coconut oil like the worst plant oil? It's full of saturated fat and everywhere I've read says this is the worst you can eat.
  • I have to admit, I cheat on the Stride Jumps. I don't squat as much as the silly lady does. The sensors never work when I'm Goalkeeper, but only the jumps to the right - so I end up almost having to jump into the bookcase next to our TV! Step Aerobics is fun! I imagine what an idiot I must look like in my pink pajama pants…
  • In a couple of weeks I'm going to have a week stay at an all inclusive hotel, there will be buffet at every meal and free snack and sugary drinks between the meals. I'm planning to browse the buffet first, help myself with small servings and really focus on not eating too much. Prioritize veggies and fruit before meat and…
  • "The fat just walks away!"
  • So what are people doing on SA2? I'm currently on the 9 week program (week 2 I believe), but I did a low impact session last night. Those squats are killing my thighs!
  • I'd say I was about 210 - 220+ pounds (95 - 100 kg) when I used UK size 18. Is it different from the US? But I probably still use 18 in some clothes, it really depends on the brand! I'm about 5'5".

  • I just finished one of the first workouts in the 9 week program. It's quite fun, although sometimes annoying when the sensors doesn't register (Goal Keeper and the first running sessions are the worst!). I like the variety of exercices and that it isn't TOO tough to manage a session. I pity my neighbours though! Both my SO…
  • Yesterday I filled up my goal with a seckond serving of dinner, a garlic baguette and two glasses of wine. I have to get better at spreading the calories throughout the day.
  • I've eaten avocado mousse as dessert. I don't know what else was in it though, but it was tasty! I usually eat it as sandiwch spread with pepper or in salads.

  • I put in my home made foods by myself, and use the recipe tool for this. For other stuff, I usually check it on the box.
  • I've also been wondering about this. I run 3 times a week, and try to fit in some more exercises the other days. But as a student most of my day is still quite sedetary. I've told MFP I'm "lightly active".
  • Here's an online calculator where you can find your bra size http://www.whatsmybrasize.co.uk/ Remember that if you go down one band size, you usually have to go up one cup size. Like 36B to 34D. Most women wear the wrong bra size actually, the best is to get yourself measured like the others have said.
  • My running pants has a small pocket in the lining, about the size of a key. I've also seen running tights with a zippered pocket at the butt for these sort of things. At the moment I have my keys in the pocket of my running jacket, as it's too cold to run in only a t-shirt (41 degrees F and less). I have my phone in my…
  • I have a Sony phone with the android app, it works great. Personally I would never get an Iphone, because of the glass screen. I drop my phone several times a day, and I have also dropped it on the asphalt while running, the Iphone would never survive that.
