I am in South Louisiana. There is a product you can buy called "Kary's Dry Roux". Its made in Ville Platte, LA. Its Fat Free, Cholestorol Free and has No Sodium in it. I do my Zumba with the Wii and I love it. I love that it keeps track of my calories burned and progress. I did buy the DVD set but I really haven't gotten into it other than to do practice the steps. No way am I brave enough yet to do it in public!!! LOL

It could be sodium causing you to retain fluid. Check out the group Eat More 2 Weigh Less....It's very interesting and could help you. I figured out my BMR and TDEE and eat 20% below my TDEE and do not eat exercise calories back. I shoot for the about the same amount of calories every day. It really helped me. Check it out…

When I have a lot left at the end of the day, I make my snack from Nutella and /or peanut butter and low fat graham crackers. Easy and delcious. Yummy. Another great snack is nuts, Almonds, Brazil nuts or Pistacio nuts and sometimes I eat those with a little bit of nutella. Super Yummy.
