The only way to get accurate calories burned is by using a HRM. The cals burned that the machines at the gym, never match what is on the Heart Rate Monitor, and surely what is on here isnt going to be as accurate, as a heart rate monitor is the only thing that can accruately detect your heart rate, continuously...and how…

I was told by personal trainer that speed doesnt effect calories burned as much as resistance or incline does. I cant run on treadmill yet, but i do walk, and i have done 20 mins with 2.0 speed and 1.5 incline and burned 73 more calories than when i did 3.0 speed cuz i was only able to do it at a 1 incline. so at least for…

i plan my meals for the day, so i know what im working with, plus if i log it ahead of time, 90% of the time i stick to what i logged. On rare occasion, such as if i have a family gathering to go to, i will log for the meals i know i will eat at home, and then know what calories and such that i have left to work…

my nutritionist and cardiologist both said HRM are far more accurate than the machines or bikes..and the most accurate HRM are the ones with the chest strap, cuz its actually reading from your chest right over your heart.
