I had actually tried that. I would eat about 2000 calories a day because I worked out so much... I ended up gaining about 5 pounds. so.... i am going to see a dietitian and see if anything is wrong..

You guys I am baffled. I usually eat around my 1200 calories a day. I work out, around 30- 45 min of cardio per day , that excludes about 30-60 min of walking to and from classes depending on the day. I have yet to see a significant weight loss. a treadmill is actually better for you adn it burns more calories. Your body requires more movement when running. You probably felt it more on the treadmill because you are using muscles not used before. Hope that helps :)
