  • Make sure you take them from a *bunch* of places! Some weeks only certain body parts will lose and others it will be others and that's really discouraging if you only took measurements of say your waist which isn't shrinking while your hips and thighs are, for example!

When I was 209 (I'm 5'2), I would naturally burn something like 2100 calories a day, and if you add 500+ calories to that you get to 2600+, so if you only eat 1200-1500, you're in a deficit of near-to-over 1000 calories.   • Depending on how much "way below" is, that could be your problem! If you're going too far with your calorie deficit, your body will prevent any weight loss. How much are you eating and burning?

  • On the one hand, holy high school! That's such a great idea, so few people have any clue how important heart rates are to fitness and your school had some for the students! Pretty awesome.   • Oh I did not perform well in this workout at all :P That 520 is not reflective of success, I assure you. My 5 second breaks (and there were quite a few) were more like 10-15 second breaks which included glaring-at-the-tv time ;) It seems like the Polar people are all pretty consistent and I just bought the wrong product...…

I was so hoping it could be true :P I guess I'll try to see if I did something wrong on my HRM when I was inputting my numbers. I just hope it's not defective, it was supposed to be good quality...
