Thank you this was helpful...it puts the meal into perspective. For me it will not be soo much the day of but the days after with all the leftovers. I will need to remember this site so I'm not finding myself having Thanksgiving dinner fo not just one day but another 2-4 days after with all the leftovers :)

I also found these comparisons pretty amusing. lol. Edema is a lymphatic issue and the result of a serious medical issue. It is not comparable to this "water weight". Please do not get the two confused...they are not interchangeable.

This my secret as well! Lots and lots of water every day. I like to add lemon or other fruits to it to mix it up because water can get a little boring for me, and doing this keeps me away from those diet cokes and sugary drinks :)

Yes, lots of hand exercises out there! You don't have any issues with your fingers becoming stuck at all do you?
