Election Returns workout

I found this here: http://www.omaha.com/article/20121106/LIVEWELL02/711069956
So far it's working well, and is kind of funny.
(What follows is all cut-and-pasted from the above site.)

After you rock the vote tonight, rock your workout.

You don't have to skip your fitness routine to keep up with the election results, thanks to a fitness game we put together. Just turn on the TV, lace up your sneakers and follow the rules listed below. In no time, you'll have exercised your bod and your right to vote.

• Whenever someone says, “Ohio:” Do one push-up.

• Whenever someones says, “Wisconsin:” Do five crunches.

• Whenever someone says, “Florida:” Do one squat.

• Whenever CNN's John King uses his touch screen: Hold a plank until he finishes or is interrupted.

• Whenever someone refers to Nebraska's split electoral vote: Do a one-minute wall-sit.

• Whenever someone says, “blue state” or “red state” or “swing state:” Do one lunge per leg.

• Whenever someone refers to voter turnout: Do 10 jumping jacks.

• Whenever someone refers to Hurricane Sandy's impact on the election: Do one burpee

  • Burbee:

The burpee (identical to what is in US English termed a "squat thrust") is a full body exercise used in strength training and as aerobic exercise. It is performed in four steps, and was originally known as a "four-count Burpee":
    Begin in a standing position.
Drop into a squat position with your hands on the ground. (count 1)
Extend your feet back in one quick motion to assume the front plank position. (count 2)
Return to the squat position in one quick motion. (count 3)
Return to standing position. (count 4) [1]

I prefer the drinking game version....

Take a sip every time someone mentions Ohio, Virginia, or Florida.

I am working until 11:00 tonight. I haven't had a lot of time to work out today. I might have to try and do this for a little bit when I get home. I am not going to have time to do a lot because I have to get up early for work again tomorrow.

I can't keep up with the planks for John King using his touch screen!

I've added 10 jumping jacks for the word "battleground."
