what I do is wear my HR monitor just to get the average heart rate only during my period of exercise and then go to this website... http://www.shapesense.com/fitness-exercise/calculators/heart-rate-based-calorie-burn-calculator.aspx to calculate the calories burned. seems to be the most accurate that I have found so far.

you can find good tasty recipes online...allrecipes.com is a good one I use a lot! try not to look at this whole thing as a diet either...thats what I had to do. porcupine meatballs! ground beef 1 egg 1/2 cup uncooked brown rice (instant) 1/2 can tomato soup mix all together...season for taste roll in balls and brown after brown simmer with rest of can of tomato soup with some water added so fast and easy!

plus if you are working out that hard you are building up muscle which weighs more than fat. usually the day after a hard workout you tend to have a little water weight due to the muscles trying to protect themselves. so dont worry...you will see results in a couple days when you drop that water weight.
