Just like everyone above mentioned. Yes, it gets easier but don't give up! That's the key... you will be amazed how much improvement you with see in 2 weeks, months, etc. The first day that I did an Insanity video, I threw up (sorry TMI) but today I am going out for my last long run before my half marathon in a few weeks.…

I am experiencing this a little bit as well. Luckily for me, I work remotely so I deal with most folks over the phone! When it does happen to me, I smile or spark of a conversation....comment their shoes, shirt, etc or talk about a current something at work that is positive. I am lucky in the aspect that I have been at my…

OMG! You are adorable! Congrats! You have a beautiful family!

That sounds very similar to my burns. I burn between 70-10 calories per mile. I am 5'3 and 131. When I am full out running for training my HR is 160 but most of the time it is high 130's.

Woot Woot!!!!! Keep up the hard work and those next 30lbs will be gone as well!

Agree! I had my first with epidural and second without, if I was crazy enough to have 3 (hehe, 2 and through for me), I would go without. I had a faster delivery and recovery with the 2nd.

I am going to try to explain this but hoping that I bump your threat up so the experts can answer. It's hard to build muscle on a deficit from your TDEE. Not sure what your number are for BMR and TDEE but mine at 5.3 and 133 lbs around 1600 (TDEE) for sedentary, if I wanted to build muscle, I would go up to 2000 on heavy…

Lol. You sound like I did before I did insanity a few months ago. I wanted something to kick my *kitten*. The first time I ever did it. I threw up! But for some reason, I kept at it. I lost 14 lbs in 60 days, after insanity I started running regularly and now I am training for half marathon. At first I didn't follow the…

I am 5"3! My current weight is 135, down from 159 (man, that hurts to type). My goal is 130, anything below that I look sickly so when I get to 130, I plan to maintain. Actually, I have been 135-137 for about 3 months now. I tend to carry all my weight in my butt/thighs. I am wearing a size 4 now so I am a lot of muscle.

Awesome story! I have found that a lot of runners out there weren't born natural runners or ones that have or hard health issues, I wonder why... Maybe because it starts out as a goal then becomes an addiction. Not sure :flowerforyou: Thanks for sharing and you should be proud of yourself!!! I have my first 10k at the end…

I did. I used to have a ton of size 4 The limited dress pants before having babies. I ended up giving them all away. One of my goals was to get back into the size 4's. When I went shopping one day, I found a pair on clearance. So I BOUGHT them! I wear them often now :flowerforyou:

Hum... Now I am trying to think about how I breathe when I run. I mostly breath through mouth when I find I can't breathe, I know I need to slow down or take a few deep breathes through my nose, Has it been really humid where you live? I find it harder to breathe when it is super humid?

Wow! Look at you! Congrats! You look amazing!

For my first back in April, I ran it in 31 mins. My last one about a month ago was 28:03. I really want to get 26 by Oct. Don't try to beat anyone but yourself. My goal every 5k is to beat my last time :)

5'3 here. MFP is set to 1400 and I eat back all the exercise calories (both cardio and strength.. Well, I add 300 on strength days). So really, I eat between 1700 and 1900. Still losing!

I have had it and ran with it. I had to take lots of rest and stretch and more stretch. Not just the foot but the calf. I would stretch my calves by standing on the stairs with my toes and going up and down as well as regular stretches. The only other thing is that I got the right shoes. I made a world of difference. I am…

YAY you! Congrats!

Hi. My advice is that you have to stay consistent. I am a full-time working mom of 2. I work from home so I workout at lunch almost every day. I have just started weight trainging but I am also training for half marathon. This is how I lost 25 lbs. I am 5'3 and started at 159, I am now at 135ish. I setup MFP around my BMR,…
