Calories are calories. Would you eat a 1,000 calorie slice of cheesecake right now? Alcohol is way overrated IMHO. If you have to drink then match one glass of water to one glass of whatever it is your indulging in. Have a safe time at the cabin and watch out for the bears.

Perhaps if he thinks it's okay, it might be time to do a little digging. It just doesn't seem right to me.

True, I just bought the same Polar and I'm shocked at the variance. I was eating my exercise calories( based on what is in the MFP database) back but not losing weight. It doesn't help when your over estimating your exercise calories. Get a good quality HRM, it will help you reach your goal weight.

I used to love bread, and I couldn't imagine living without it. That all changed when I became more aware of the negative effects it was having on my body. I would eat an entire loaf in a day, constantly craving it every couple of hours, a never ending cycle. The fact I had ballooned up to my heaviest weight was an alarm…

Major Depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder here. For the most part I do pretty good. A solid grip on clean foods helps as well as a healthy exercise regime. I find having a solid support network of friends is key to getting over the bad days. Every once in awhile a bad day comes out of the blue and lays me low for…
