Coffee, apple then soup at 1300-1400 hrs works for me. Once in awhile a boiled egg if I'm hitting the pool before noon. Tried to incorporate breakfast into my diet but I'm not seeing anything positive. So back to the old java juice. Doesn't work for everyone, but for me it's the way my body likes it.

Awesome job on quitting smoking. Nicotine is a tricky little demon. It is finally out of your system after 3 days. To help you strengthen your resolve I would suggest reading Allen Carr's book, The easy way to quit smoking. Keep at it, it does get easier. I quit over 2 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made in…

Anyway, like I was sayin', banana's is the fruit of the land. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, banana-kabobs, banana creole, banana gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple banana, lemon banana, coconut banana, pepper banana, banana soup, banana stew, banana salad,…

Allan Carr's book " The easy way to quit smoking" is a great place to start. He gives lots of advice on dealing with the urges. I quit right after reading his book. It can be done! Good luck.

Switch out half the water with blueberry juice. Most blueberry juice isn't "pure", so you really need to read the label. Have you tried cooking your steel cut oats in a steamer? Takes half an hour and you don't have to stir it.

This is true. I smoked like a trooper for 32 years and tried almost everything to quit. Finally reading Allen Carr's book made me quit. And this book made me be excited to quit. I quit drinking as well because I don't trust my self. My anniversary date is Feb 26. Almost 2 years without smoking and still loving it.

Thanks for the recipe OP. I make my own shredded coconut. Their easier to process if you freeze them. Depending on the amount of water in the coconut it will generally crack itself in the frozen state. ( ice water expands) After this happens I remove the coconut and place it in a pan to collect the water as it thaws. Then…
