Right there with you. My little guy is almost 18 months old. I lost 30 pounds right before getting pregnant ,and it almost seemed EASY, once I got used to logging everything and got into the habit of working out regularly. Now, I can't wrap my mind around how I managed it before. I've lost some, but haven't been able to…

We did "Winter 1-Derland" and did a penguin theme. I made a little smash cake for him, a hot chocolate bar with lots of toppings (and a couple adults-only add-ins for the grown ups), and then a table of themed foods (white cupcakes for snowballs, little cups of goldfish crackers for penguin food, candy sticks for icicles,…

Haha....this is almost exactly what happened to me. I actually did slim down, but when I got within 5 pounds of my goal weight, I suddenly started gaining again and couldn't figure out why...especially since I suddenly was nauseous all the time and nothing tasted good. Surprise!

Anyone can add me! My only child just turned one on December 19, and I have been back to logging food for 4 days now. I lost almost 40 pounds before getting pregnant using MFP, but post-pregnancy I am almost back to where I was to begin with...grrr. Trying to lose 15-20 pounds by summer break!

I know! Maybe it would have been, if I would have eaten the same way I ate before getting pregnant...but holy cow...I am STARVING all the time! I'll wake up in the middle of the night to feed Bug with pangs of hunger so bad that I have to go to the kitchen and have a small glass of chocolate milk or some cereal just to…

Pre-pregnancy: 137 Day the baby was born: 182 Right after delivery: 165 Current: 161 Baby is 8 months old...breastfed...extremely, extremely frustrated. Booooo.

This could be because I'm 3 beers in and have had a pretty crappy day myself...but I have been in similar situations with friends before and, to be perfectly honest, if I've learned one thing....it's that friends that are self-absorbed and want support without being supportive ultimately aren't worth the trouble. I…

I have been making our baby food for the past month or so using the Baby Bullet, my regular steamer basket, and mostly vegetables and fruits that we already have around. I really like it...I spend about half an hour on Sundays making food for the whole week, and I'm done! I've used this website a lot.…

We are in the transition process right now, and it's tough! I was going to try to let him cry it out, but all that did was stress me out...and it didn't work. Now, we go through his bedtime routine (bath, food, story, song, prayer), and then I put him in his crib...wide awake or not...and let him lay there while I read or…

I've always been a huge carb fanatic...and every time I would beat myself up and try to cut out carbs, I would end up an unhappy mess and give up within a few days. So, instead of beating myself up for loving carbs, I just started finding better ways to satisfy my cravings...whole grain sandwich slims instead of thick…

Teddy was in the lower percentile range for his first few appointments, but has grown steadily and is at about 14 and a half pounds now, at 5 and a half months. I was worried that he was so small at first, but he's definitely catching up, weight-wise. He's still on the shorter side...I think they said 8th percentile in…

I'm shooting for 8 months. I'm a school teacher and pumping at work right now, which SUCKS...I figure that, if I can make it until school is out in May, I can then stop as summer comes to a close and avoid pumping at work next school year. We'll see, though...right now, I can't imagine not giving it to him.

I'm a new mom to a one-month old boy, and am just re-starting with MFP today. Anyone can add me!

Baby is here! First off...congratulations to all of you who had your babies in the past few days! I have been kind of MIA, but see that there have been some exciting announcements that I missed! Here's how Theodore's delivery progressed: Monday, Dec. 17 - Had a backache all day. Assumed it was nothing. That night, had very…

So glad I finally found this thread...I have definitely become "Pregnant Mega-B*****" in the past few months. Not only has every pet peeve been intensified by about 5 times, but the following have been added: * Parents who e-mail me too much. As a 2nd grade teacher, I am not usually bothered by the constant flood of parent…
Aw well that's awesome!! Have you decided on a name yet?
We have! He is going to be Theodore Wayne, after both of our grandpas...but we are calling him "Teddy Wayne".

Yes, it is our first....and it's a boy! Super excited and terrified at the same time.
Welcome to the final stage! Yayy!! I think a lot of us are going through the crazy weight gain and unhealthy cravings!! Is this your first? And did you find out the sex? Good luck getting things ready!! I'm 32 weeks and am…

Hi, guys! I'm 28 and a half weeks now, so I guess it's time I headed over to the third trimester board...SO CRAZY how quickly time is going all of a sudden! Anyway...here's what's going on with my pregnancy in a nutshell: * I have gained 30 pounds already. This is not okay! I have been eating like crap...I seem to have…

Mine stopped around 14 weeks...at 20 weeks, is started coming back and seems to be here to stay, but it's not nearly as bad as it was...I can get through the day without a nap now, but am going to bed earlier than I usually would and having to sit more during the day than I used to.

Had my five month appointment /anatomy scan part 2 today, and everything looked good! Teddy Wayne is measuring at 1.3 pounds and right on schedule. Have been feeling small movements for awhile, but they have gotten considerably more noticeable and frequent over the past 5 days or so...husband was able to feel him for the…

I've been having protein issues for a few weeks now, even though I am usually a big meat-eater. I've been adding a scoop of chocolate protein powder to the milk I put in my morning cereal, since I can't seem to handle eggs or any other sort of morning protein. I've also been getting the good yogurt (Siggi's, Greek Gods,…

Dear baby - If you are going to make noticeable movements, please do it a lot. Not once or twice every day or two. You make me worry. Also, as I've told you, macaroni and cheese and potato chips and M&Ms are not good for you. Please start demanding raw vegetables and fruits.

Yay! Congratulations on your Christmas boy!
-
We have! It's going to be Theodore Wayne, after both of our grandfathers.

Well, I was kind of pulling for a girl, but have suspected the whole time it was a boy and, truth be told, I couldn't be happier to know that we will be welcoming a sweet little boy into our house. Can't wait to hear what you have!
Yay!! a boy! Congratulations! Did you have a feeling it was going to be a boy? I…

So, so sorry to hear this. Sending lots of prayers your way.

Had our anatomy scan today! I measured 4 days ahead of schedule, so right at 19 weeks. Have to go in for another scan next month because they couldn't get a clear picture of the heart...but, everything else looked good. Heartbeat was 129, which I am told is fine. Unfortunately, I have a fibroid that has gotten bigger (was…

Had our 16 week appointment today, and all was well! Heart rate was in the 140's, and we are scheduled for our anatomy scan (and should find out the gender) on August 7! Haven't had any spotting in 2 weeks, and am hoping to have that scary business over and done with. Went ahead and did the quad screening today, and am…

So very sorry to read this...sending lots of prayers and hugs your way.

Yes, you should plan to exercise while pregnant. Talk to your doctor about what kinds of exercise would be suitable. The main things I got from my doctor were: * Now isn't the time to take up a brand new program (for example, shouldn't start training for a marathon if you have never run before), but anything you have been…
