Are you looking at food for what it is (food) or for what it is considered by some (junk)? And if you can just quit, you're not addicted.

IIFYM doesn't leave people malnourished.

Deadlifts do train the upper back isometrically but it is primarily a lower back exercise. If all one cares about is powerlifting, this is fine but if one cares about physique (as the vast majority of people here do, and I assume OP as well), rows would be highly recommended if only because doing nothing but deads, squats,…

Follow a proven lifting program with progressive overload while eating sufficient protein.

If you don't have a medical reason to monitor sugar (diabetes), there's no reason to worry about it when you're already counting calories. The recommendation to limit sugar is based on the idea that overeating sugar is a common cause of excess calories. When counting calories, this becomes a pointless exercise. Sugar…

You having a food intolerance doesn't establish a link between dairy and acne for the general population, though. That would be like linking peanuts to early death because some people have allergies.

That's not how it works.

Timely thread.

The fact that "some places" ban things isn't evidence that they're unhealthy. It just means that some politicians think they are. Politicians aren't health professionals.

You said it...but do you have any evidence behind the claim?

Any claims that anything is bad for the gut biome can be immediately discarded for one simple reason. We do not know which changes are good, which changes are bad and which changes are neutral. Yes, there's at least one study that shows sucralose affects the gut microbiome. However, we don't know whether it's a positive,…

Aspartame (the sweetener used in Coke Zero and most other zero calorie drinks) is about the most studied food additive in existence and in 40 plus years of study, they've found no reasonable evidence that it is harmful to humans. It's a dipeptide, meaning it is a compound molecule of two amino acids (proteins) bound by a…

Even if it doesn't melt...how is that evidence that it's bad for you?

And that is useless information in regards to the nutritional profile or safety of the ingredients used to prepare said french fry.

Creatine is fine to take to support your workouts if you want (I do) but it doesn't help with bulking beyond helping your workouts. Muscle milk is just an overpriced protein shake and not a very good one (in taste or quality). Regular whey protein (I like Gold Standard by Optimum Nutrition) is plenty good enough for…

More likely a hip. Yum. I, too, was a small child the first time I tried frog legs but my parents had no need to lie. I was excited to finally try them at long last. I thought it was super cool. I still like em. 10/10 would have for breakfast.

Much to my mother's chagrin, I've always enjoyed non-breakfast foods for breakfast. There's no reason to only eat traditional breakfast foods in the morning. Food is food.

While I agree, I'm not sure how it answers the question as to whether or not OP should squeeze their glutes.

Homemade brand (higher end of the United Dairy Farmers brand) is the best IMO but it's not available beyond certain parts of the midwestern states. Based out of Cincinnati. ETA: It also melts.
