Its up to you to say enough is enough. If you're tired of being sick and tired, then only you can do something about it. You lost the weight, so we know you can do it, the problem is is that you got comfortable again and didn't maintain. Think of it this way. If it was hard enough to lose the weight the first time, why…

ANYONE can do Insanity workouts. Its all about challenging yourself. Shaun T will even tell you its OK if you can't keep up with the people on the screen. Even the people on the video can't keep up, some are taking a break or grabbing water. He tells you to watch your form, stay hydrated and do what you can do. Each day…

If you're already going to the gym, then by all means do 30DS on your alternate days. It will still give you great results. If however you were only doing the 30DS 3 days a week and nothing else in-between, then I don't think it would give you the results you are looking for. Consistency is key.....and you are already…

I have both 30 day Shred and Ripped in 30, and while doing them I didn't do any other exercise. However, just last week I started Jillian's Hard Body workout and afterwards would do Mari Winsor's Pilates for about 30 minutes afterwards. I really enjoy the difference in intensity of both workouts, back to back.

I don't generally eat anything before an early morning workout, but there have been times I have made a protein shake with half a banana in it for a quick pick me up. I get stomach cramps easy if I eat right before a heavy cardio session.

You're a winner, definitely! You look amazing! Keep us posted on your progress with your trainer. Keep up the amazing work and good job!

Since you are just starting out perhaps try cutting it out so that your body can adjust to your new lifestyle. If you have cheat days, you're not really changing any behaviours, and I find that some people overdo it on the day they set aside to eat whatever and just binge. It becomes a free-for-all day. For me, I just cut…

Your body burns calories whether you are moving or not. Just to exist you need to burn calories so I would say its so far correct. Each time you take a step and move your body in some way, you are obviously burning more then at sedentary.

Clean eating and exercise....the proof is in the pics! Fantastic results! Can't wait to see the 30 day result. By the way, I love Jillian Michaels workouts. She is the best!

For me there is nothing that makes plain Greek yogurt taste good. However, with vanilla Greek yogurt I love to add a tablespoon of peanut butter and half a sliced banana for a great post workout fuel.

Hello my name is Sandra and I am 43. I aim to lose 20lbs before the new year. I don't plan on stopping there....I'd love to tone up and gain muscle definition, including abs. I have completed INSANITY last fall and felt so accomplished. It has motivated me to push myself out of my comfort zone. Glad to meet everyone and…

15pounds by Xmas would be awesome, and I'll even settle for 10. Looking to tone up and increase my workout frequency as well. Count me in.

Awesome story! I hear ya, its always hard to have to start yet AGAIN! But, through it all, you have found balance and what works for you. You stayed dedicated and you do what makes you happy, which is your running and getting your son to run with you on little distances. Great family bonding! Your final pic you look happy…

If you have a spot available I would love to join. Can u send me the details too please? How do we find the group once its started? I love doing Jillian Michaels videos as they are 30 days, and I have done INSANITY in the spring. I definitely need to keep moving everyday and being held accountable here would be awesome.…

Fantastic results!! Love the definition! Which Sean T workout did you use? I've done Insanity about 8 mths ago and lost a lot of inches, but may need to do it again to get the definition you have. Awesome job!

So true! I always go by measurements not by the scale. I don't want to be "skinny fat", I want to be toned and have a little muscle definition. And yes, that can make the number on the scale go up, because muscle weighs more than fat. I definitley take the muscle. You look fantastic!

Increase your calorie intake and incorporate more protein and fresh veggies. Also, thats a lot of cardio each day, 60-90 minutes. Focus on strength training more so, and cut back on your cardio length. Perhaps try circuit training, where its both cardio and strength. Its quality, not quantity. Too much cardio ends up…

I'm in my second month and it's an amazing program. It's intense, but it's not moves you can't do. Just go your own pace don't try to keep the same as on the DVD. You will find that even they take breaks when they need it. Just do it the best you can and keep pushing to do your best. Each day and each week you will find…

Don't pay any mind to those around you. They are all there for the same reason to be healthy and get fit. Don't forget they all started at some point too, and likely some were at the same starting point as you. We are all our biggest critics and we all tend to make more out of a situation than it really is. I have found…

you can try www.oxygenmag.com which has great moves in there. I buy the magazine and often find valuable tips and information on strength training moves as well as recipes. Also, if you like home dvd's, you can try Jillian Micheals 30 day Shred and Ripped in 30. I have both and they are wonderful for using these weights.…

You said in your profile you used to be a runner and that's how you lost weight. Sounds to me like you know what you need to do and what works for you. The only thing stopping you is YOU. Get your runners laced up and get moving. And, be mindful of the 8 inches that's between your plate and your mouth. You can't…

Use a salad plate instead of a dinner plate. Or, try dividing your plate into 3 sections. Lean Protien (such as chicken, fish, lean beef), veggies/salad, and your carbs such as sweet potato, or brown rice. Once your plate is finished thats it. And drink plenty of water throughout the day to help curb hunger and to keep…

It has to be exactly that...a lifestyle. Don't think of it as a diet or you will fail for sure, because you limit yourself on your food and then you binge. Make it routine. Make it a habit. Like brushing your teeth or making your bed. Just because its the weekend do you stop brushing your teeth and making your bed? Do you…

You need to add protein to your breakfast. All you need to add along with your oatmeal is some eggs. Scramble up a couple eggs, or make a small omelette with a couple veggies alongside your bowl of oatmeal and your good to go. You need a healthy combination of carbs and protein at every meal, and try to eat something every…
