try adding ground flaxseed into your diet. you can add it to smoothies, to yogurt, baking, sprinkle on cereal, on just about everything! It works. Two tablespoons a day is the recommended dose.

I prefer Stevia if I had to use a sugar substitute. I mostly go without sugar in tea/coffee but have also opted for honey in my tea. Especially in green tea.

Absolutely you can lose weight with diet alone. Its 80% nutrition 10% exercise and 10% genetics. They don't have the sayings "you are what you eat" and "abs are made in the kitchen" for nothing!
