Having the Couch25k is an awesome goal, but don't set yourself up for failure. Jump on the treadmill and walk. Walk everyday until you can jog then jog until you run. I have often done this to myself. Kept saying I was going to run, I was going to jog, I was going to do something. I recently just started walking 60-90…

The reason most nutrition peeps say eat in the morning because You do need to start and maintain your metabolism. This is important to weight loss. You don't drive your car on an empty gas tank then fill it up when you are done with it. You're body is an even better machine that needs well maintained. I highly recommend…

Walking a couple miles a day may help you feel like you're doing more, I like to do 60 mins at 3mph. And if I want a real good workout I do incline at 10%. Brittany

OMG! I love avocados. Lol. This week we had homemade chicken tortilla soup which you serve with fresh avocado on top. Also I love to make big *kitten* healthy sandwiches with avocado slices, turkey, red bell pepper, tomato lettuce. And the best compliment to avocado is lime and cilantro. And since avocados can be pricey at…

Doing a wheat free diet can be good but just know you will have withdrawals. I've done and it can be awful. Headaches, tiredness, dizziness, bowel issues. Try to add more healthy fats during like avocados, olive oil, organic cottage cheese, hazelnuts. Also, add brown rice, black beans and sweet potatoes. Cutting out wheat…

I recommend you use the Red Hot if you really enjoy it. Personally, I find alternatives to my favorites that are healthier or at least more health conscious. Brittany

To stay on track, you've absolutely got to find your motivation. Read success stories on the message boards. Hype yourself up so you can't quit or give in to the cravings. Also learn to replace your cravings with a healthy food or beverage. I replace ice cream with apple sauce, fast food with a baked sweet potato (with…

Count everything. It'll keep you on track in the long run. If you don't account for 100-500 calories of fruit a day, that's an average of 91,000 calories a year. That's almost one fifth of all the calories an average woman is supposed to consume in a year. Count everything. :)

Don't be too hard on yourself. We all have moments where we've not made the best choices. Just recognize the misstep and correct it going on. Don't let one bad meal cause more failures. You got this!

Hi. I'm an Army wife. My husband is stationed at Fort Carson, CO. We live in Colorado Springs. I lost 30 lbs last year then regained it after meeting my husband and leaving my martial arts training in Texas. I'm on track again and so excited to finish this time. Always looking for new friend and workout partners. Brittany

I absolutely loving beating on a bag. Kickboxing is addictive. It helped me so much last year and I take every opportunity to throw some kicks and jabs. I'm new to my area so I'm still looking for a good class. Brittany

Hi Jennifer. An Herbalife Formula 1 shake with nothing added but water and ice is 90 calories. At the club, they may add protein bar, flavored syrup or fruit. Do you know what they added to your shake? Next time, just ask. They should know how many calories each of the shakes have. Brittany
