Not only can you, you need to!. You can lose weight other ways but strength training will allow you to build muscle and lose fat. Once you build muscle your metabolism will move faster!

It is normal for your muscles to be sore after legs. Especially on the 2nd day. This is called delayed muscle response. It is actually better to continue with your workouts so you can get the soreness out. It would help to stretch after any weight training to eliminate soreness as well.

You do not have to eat 100% clean however just creating a calorie deficit will not help your goal. The timing of when you eat bad food can be helpful to your cause. Look into carb backloading. It is a fun way to lose get lean and eat what you want

I think the key is to trick your body. If you do the same routine the possibility of being stuck is huge. If you change up your routine a little bit it may help. Most suppliments work the same. They amp up energy and slow down appetite. They work in that sense, but do not make you lose weight. They do aid in weight loss with a good diet and excersize, which is typically why results are better than just diet and excersize alone.
