I too work in an office that also seems to always have goodies. I have learned to walk away from all the goodies, it's not always easy. Yesterday there were cookies, I didn't even hesitate, I just walked away from them. Make sure that you have healthy snacks for you to enjoy. I told myself that if I didn't bring it to work…

The Tenors, amazing voices and nice eye candy.

You look fantastic. Great job.

I'm a youthful almost 46 year old. I am in the same boat as you. A year and half ago I lost 54lbs on MFP, due to changes in life and a death in the family I have gained all but 20lbs back. I have at least 50lbs to lose. I was also off my diabetes medication but have since had to go back on. I need all the motivation I can…

Amazing story, thanks for the motivation. You look great.

Josh Groban last year with my daughter. He is amazing.

I follow this rule also. It makes it easier to walk away. Our office had an ice cream sundae party and I didn't leave my office. That way I was tempted to eat any. If I know that we are having a pot luck, I make it fit into my food for the day.

You look awesome. Great job.

I'm 45 and have been on here a couple of years. Lost some weight the first time around. Gained some back this year due to a death in the family and being an emotional eater. I am back at it and looking to get to my goal weight of 135lbs. I am open to any new friends.

I'm in, I need as much motivation as I can get to get moving.

I've had both and find that I like mine short. Remember it's just hair and it will always grow back if you don't like it. You are very beautiful but could pull off a short spiky haircut. Good luck.

I looked at your pictures on your profile and you should be so proud of yourself. You look absolutely amazing.

I used to be really good about exercising first thing in the morning. Now I exercise whenever I can fit it in.

I add blueberries to mine and a package of sugar substitute. You can also add cinnamon which is good for you.

We all have bad days. Just get back on the wagon and don't let this derail you. I find that if I have a bad day, I sabatoge myself and it turns into a bad week. Don't let that happen to you.

Great job. My goal is to stay off metformin also. I was diagnosed diabetic in July of 2011 and have been off my meds since April 2012. You got this, stay motivated and keep working at it.

Great NSV. Way to push through and finish what you started.

Dan, just take it day by day. I was diagnosed diabetic in July 2011. My A1C at that time was 8.7, it is now 5.8. I was put on metformin but have been off it since April 2012. When I was first diagnosed I also went to a nutritionist to help me with my eating. The main thing to remember is that everything in moderation. My…

I weigh every morning after I shower. My daughter thinks that I am obsessed with weighing myself. The way I look at it, is that it keeps me accountable and lets me know where I am at. I do get discouraged from time to time, usually on Mondays. It seems that I do so well during the week and on the weekends I blow it. So on…

You are so inspirational. Thank you so much for sharing your story. Keep up the good work, you look fabulous.

It's not always easy to ignore what others say. I have always worn bigger shirts and was once told by someone giving aways samples that I would need the product when I had my little one. I was far from being pregnant. Don't let what they say get to you. Remember that you are doing this for yourself and nobody else. Keep up…

I workout in the morning and never eat before I workout. However I am diabetic so I take a granola bar with me so that if I need something I have it. I try to have something with protein after I am done. If I don't eat within an hour of working out I feel faint, goes back to being diabetic. But you know your body so listen…

Celery sticks, cucumber slices, carrots, sliced tomatoes. I love tomatoes with cottage cheese.

You look absolutely wonderful, great job. Thank you for your post, I know that it is the motivation that I need to get back at it. I still have about 35lbs to lose. Thanks for all the helpful hints, I am going to use them.

Just for today: I will remember how far I have come (40lbs gone) and not how far I have to go. Just for today: I will continue to work on it one day at a time and celebrate each day that I conquer.

You look fabulous.

I buy the Dannon Oikos plain. I use it in place of sour cream. Also I add my own fruit or granola to it.

When my daughter and I were going to Zumba our instructor was a man. It helped even more that he was a nice piece of eye candy. I thing that is why we continued going.

One of my favorite quotes is "If you look pretty after working out, you aren't doing it right." I am a hot, sweaty mess when I finish working out. But that gives me a sense of accomplishment. I don't care if people stare at me, I am there for me and nobody else. Keep going and you will see the results.
