I don't have actual before pictures. But have plenty of myself overweight. Would like to throw them all away.

I am 5ft even, probably shrinking even more as I age. I weighted 200lbs last July now weigh 149.2lbs. Still have another 20 or so to lose.

I take it day by day. I didn't look at the big number. I know it is something that I needed to do for my health, my kids and especially for myself. There are days that I still get frustrated. I remember talking to my son (who is athletic) about how much I hated exercising. He told me to just do it. He said once you start…

I use it to track distance nothing more. I usually have on my HRM when I walk, jog or hike.

I bought a tupperware reusable cup with a lid. It holds 24oz and I fill it up about 5 times a day. I take it everywhere with me.

When I started exercising in February, I would just walk. I also have a firm video that I just love. It is a mixture of cardio and weights. I also like water aerobics.

I second the motion.

Wow I feel better now coming out that I have a crush on Brett. :blushing:

If I don't get up and exercise in the morning I won't do it. I never have time after work, with my work schedule some days I don't even know when I will be off. I have to stay committed and do it in the morning. Depending on what I time I have to be to work, changes depending on the day I have gotten up at 4:45am to do it.…

My all time favorite is peanut butter and banana's. Also love it with celery and carrots. When I was younger a spoonful of peanut butter was a treat.

Now is the perfect time to go to farmer's markets if there is any close by where you live. I can get my veggies there for real cheap. Also if you have neighbors who garden a lot of times they grow way too much and will give stuff away. Mine is always giving squash. Good luck.

I agree with this.

Having my best friends mom say "you so skinny". I still have a way to go, but that is amazing to have someone say that.

You are an inspiration to all of us. Amazing job.

You can do it. I am 43 and only 5" and use to weigh 200lbs, now a year later I am down to 150lbs. No longer on my diabetes medication and feeling much healther. I still have more to lose but haven't quit yet. You can add me as a friend also.

I am 43 but look much younger. I always get the "you aren't old enough to have a 22 yr old". My kids are always telling me that I don't act like an adult. I tell them you are only as old as you act. So just because my age is 43 does that mean I have to act 43? I don't think so.

I exercise in the morning. If I don't by the time I get off work I am way to tired to do it. The only time I do evenings in on Thursday when my daughter and I do a Zumba class. If I know we aren't going to class on a certain Thursday I will exercise in the morning. I usually take Saturday and Sunday off from exercise,…

You look amazing. Great job.

I do this also. If I am having a larger dinner or something with more calories I try to plan the rest of my day accordingly so I don't go over.

You will feel so much better after you go to the gym. We all have days like this. I find that if I give in one day and not exercise it is easier to not do it again the next day. I remember when I started exercising in February and swore every morning when the alarm would go off. Since I have been doing it and seeing the…

That the shirt I am wearing today, as my daughter would say, is starting to look like a mini-dress. And I can't keep any of my capri's up without a belt on. I was told twice on Tuesday to pull up my pants. Even with a belt on I struggle keeping them up. The office manager at my work also called me the incredible shrinking…

It is frustrating but remember this, when you are cooking at home you control what ingredients are in your dishes. Usually that makes them a lot healthier than anything in a can or jar. It make take longer but in the end is worth it.

Make a fruit pizza. There are lots of different ways to make it. Look online for a healthier recipe. Easy to make.

Don't look at is as a diet. It needs to be a lifestyle change. Don't cut out all the bad stuff at once. Do it slowly. I use to crave sweets but now I don't. And if I want something sweet I go for the natural stuff, fruit. I have lost 50 lbs since the end of last July when I diagnosed diabetic. I had to look at the way I…

I make myself get up and exercise. It was really hard at first but the more I do it the better I feel. It took me months to finally get started. I don't let myself slack off because I know if I don't I won't get started again. Remember the benefits and how you feel after you exercise. I can tell the difference during the…

I try to measure as much as I can. I have also bought smaller dishes that are 1 cup so that I can use them and not have to worry.

I work out because of the way it makes me feel. When I work out I have some much more energy than when I don't. Plus I love seeing the results that exercising has brought to my body. Never thought that I would admit this, but I actually enjoy exercising. Because of exercising I am actually able to keep up with my kids when…

I probably won't see it. But I agree on the eye candy especially Matthew.

I was diagnosed with diabetes last July. Started watching my carb intake and portion size. Dropped 25 lbs by the end of the year. In February became a member of MFP and started exercising. I went back to the doctor in April and I had lost 40lbs and my A1C was down from 8.7 to now being 5.6. I was able to go off my…

I agree, go with your HRM. It is based off not only weight but your actual heart rate. There are certain things that I can't wear my HRM while I am doing them such as water aerobics, so with that I use the MFP calculator.
