Just because he doesn't want to fight it anymore isn't admitting guilt. You can only fight so much before it takes the life out of you. I see nothing wrong with him giving up the fight. Sometimes I would only drink my spinach smoothie as my breakfast. Then would have a snack later when I was hungry. For lunch have a grilled chicken breast with some veggies, I always eat leftovers from the night before.

That's a tough one. I could just eat all the chips and salsa and not eat anything else. I always seem to go over when I eat Mexican. It's so hard for me, its my favorite.

I have learned that I don't really hate exercise like I thought I did all these years. I have also learned that I was being delusional all these years thinking that I looked ok when I really didn't. And I love who I am and who I will continue to become.

After looking at your diary I think you need to add some fruits and veggies. Also there was no water logged. Do you drink water, you need to drink a lot. Aslo add some cardio and strength training to your day.

Don't give up. Every once in a while you can have some treats. This is a lifestyle change not a diet. My doctor tells me I can eat anything I want. I just have to remember moderation and not have it everyday. Pick yourself back up and get back to getting yourself healthy. You go girl.:smile:

Carbs are bad for you. But you should eat the bulk of them earlier in the day. I would try to do lower carb at night. Try adding some eggs to your breakfast. I do and egg, egg white, mushrooms cooked in a wheat tortilla with salsa. Pretty satisfying.

I do the old fashion instant oats in a mug and eat it on the way to work. I boil the water for about 2 minutes add my oatmeal, some protein powder and fruit. Quick and easy. Or and egg scrambled in a wheat tortilla with salsa (only about 140 cals).
