I like the Think Thin protein bars.

I also recommend both Oh She Glows and Fat Free Vegan. I have also found some really good recipes on Vegan Richa and Thug Kitchen.

Here is a quick one. I mix salsa with refried beans then wrap in the tortilla with some rice or veggies. Sometimes I put in the oven just long enough to get warm and a little crunchy- reminds me of a chimichurra that's baked rather than fried.

Hello. I am hoping to lose 15-20 pounds and also want to get into lifting. It seems there are so many benefits. Since I don't know where to start and have trouble getting to the gym I am going to try the Beachbody Body Beast Dvds. I also plan to read Strong lifts 5X5 for Women. I heard that it is a good program. I only have…

I love these too. One of my favorites :)

I'm a vegetarian and my husband is not. Meat free dishes that he enjoys are all sorts of pasta (you could use a garlic and oil sauce for your husband if he doesn't like tomato), potato pierogi, bean chili, bean burritos, Asian noodle dishes and different types of soups.

I have been making a Jillian Michaels recipe I saw on Pinterest made with Dandelion tea, 2 Tbsp of cranberry juice and the juice of half a lemon. I wonder if it is the same thing. I have not noticed any detox effects but it tastes good and gets me to drink more water.

I'm another veggie looking for friends. You can add me

Mushrooms. They're so healthy and a great meat substitute. I keep trying .

Hi ali_wag! I'm a vegetarian looking for friends as well. Feel free to add me :)

I sprinkle it on pasta dishes instead of the grated parmesan cheese. Also in vegan Mac and cheese type dishes. It doesn't taste exactly like cheese though- if you expect it to you might be disappointed.

Tempeh Helper (from the book Appetite for Reduction- it's a vegetarian version of Hamburger Helper) and Shepherds Pie made with lentils.

I heard that it is for energy but never looked very much into it because it is so expensive. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if anyone has actually used it. I might be tempted to try it if it really works.

Looks delicious. Just pinned it for lunch this week

I am a fairly healthy eater and have two boys. I made both baby food from scratch and made sure to offer them smaller portions of whatever my husband and I had for dinner. It worked with the first one. He eats fruit, veggies and all sorts of ethnic foods. The younger decided that he only likes a few varieties of pasta,…

T25 is great if you don't have a lot of time. I also have Jillian MIchaels and the Firm -Thin in 30.

I also find it had to drink water, unless I'm exercising or if is really hot. I'm usually always cold so water is not that appealing to me. I have started drinking lemon water and herbal tea and that seems to be working.

I have a lot of vegetarian and vegan cookbooks and I think the best ones for starting off are "Happy Herbivore" and "Appetite for Reduction ".

I just bought GNC Spiru-Meal in Chocolate and am enjoying it so far. It contains spirulina which is really healthy. I also use PB 2

Beans are so versatile. Check out Pinterest for recipes- I find a lot there. They can be used in salads, burritos or soups. For snacks you can snack on roasted chickpeas or veggies dipped in hummus.

I'm in! I need the motivation.

Hi everyone. My Body Beast is being delivered tomorrow! I am reasonably fit but new to lifting. I want to lose 10-15 lbs and am not sure if I should do Huge or Lean. Any suggestions? Thanks.

This is one of my favorite success stories so far. So inspiring. :)

I weigh every day. It works best for me. When I stopped doing it for a while I gained weight. Even though I know weight can fluctuate if I gain some I am a little extra careful that day. Weighing daily keeps me in line

I totally understand. I am also a vegetarian for ethical reasons but my husband and boys eat meat. My husband has no interest in going 100% veggie but. can deal with eating a vegetarian dinner 3 out of the 5 days of the work week (we usually order in and eat leftovers over the weekend). I am most successful serving pasta…
