Try pro-biotics. YOu can get them in pill form in most grocery stores.

It's harsh but I think they're basically saying you have to change your mindset or you'll stay where you are. Remember that the calorie allotment on MFP factors in a deficit in order to lose weight. So if by "binging" you're going over this, you may actually just be in maitenence area. Doing that once a week isn't going to…

Whenever people comment on other's body parts, they're totally just projecting their own insecurities on you. Don't let them! It's easier said than done, I know. If it's still getting to you, use the "sting" and take it out at the gym. Living well is the best revenge!

Haha! I also think by the time you have full sleeves the only appropriate answer to the "why sleeves?" question is "Because I like tattoos." All my tattoos mean something but more so that they mark a part of my life. Sometimes, I don't remember why I got one but I remember who was there and what we did during/after.

Pizza! Although now I have it once a week or less. In high school (I was around 180ish towards the end), I'd eat entire bag of lays potato chips and an Elios pizza after school. YECH.

Don't over estimate your exercise calories or under estimate your intake calories. Do the exact opposite.

I take a raw food based multi with iron and it doesn't affect me. I also eat a lot of lentils, chickpeas (or falafels), eggs, spinach, kale, almonds and mangoes.

Dried mango. I'm OBSESSED and eat almost every single day.

2 Cups of raw kale 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1/4 cup (more or less depending what you like) of chopped garlic 1/4 tablespoon of lemon juice 1/4 cup of shaved parmesan croutons salt and pepper to taste Mix up the olive oil, lemon, garlic, salt & pepper and cheese Cover the kale really well let sit for about 5-7 minutes…

haha YES! Exactly what I said two seconds after you said it! It's great advice though, truly.

A popular quote I've heard around here is this: It takes 4 weeks for you to notice a change in your body. 8 weeks for your friends/family to notice a change in your body. 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice a change in your body. KEEP IT UP! Give yourself another 4 weeks. Mix up your routines and start strength…

YES! I was OBSESSED!

"Unhealthy" bodies or not, we all have to love ourselves enough to make any change. Regardless of size, everyone should honor themselves and believe they are worth taking care of. I believe THAT is all Rach is trying to get across...

I got skipped too! I could use some shameless attention! :)

That is true but it won't help you lose any significant amount of weight. It's just a (very!) temporary metabolism boost.

A popular quote around here goes something like this: "It takes 4 weeks for you to notice the change in your body. It takes 8 weeks for your friends/family to notice the change in your body. It takes 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice the change in your body. Give yourself 12 weeks but don't give up!"

Sweets and chocolate are turning her off big time (worst. pregnancy. ever.) Thanks, she's a very good friend to me as well. She's just very mentally unprepared for this pregnancy and can't get out of her funk. It's a blessing of course but it's hard to enjoy when it was never on the game plan.

I didn't think of that! I'll have a variety of teas available. The cravings is a good idea! She's been craving SPICY, maybe I'll put out some chips and salsa.

A good rule of thumb is to consume half of your weight in ounces. For example: If you weight 150, you should be drinking 75oz of water a day. I have a Nalgene that holds 32oz of water. I"ll have at least 2.5 at work. Some people count their tea, I personally don't.

YES! One of the best shoot out scenes ever! Did you ever watch the directors cut? Clarence dies in the end!

Chances are, you are not searching for your "next great love", you're subconsciously searching for a distraction. You're probably not even ready for a serious relationship right now. That wouldn't be fair to any new guy. Like others said, living with the ex, he is still physically in your life which is giving you a little…

1. Eat as clean as possible (increase raw veggies and fruit). READ LABELS. If there are too many ingredients you don't recognize, put it back. 2. Zumba 3. Log and measure every. single. thing.
-
Totally! Also, not being afraid of "full body shots". We'll always have body image issues, that's why we all gained weight in the first place. It's time to FORCE ourselves to look and praise our progress!

1. RUN SLOWER. You should be able to have a conversation while running. If you're running alone, try mouthing the words to the song you're listening too. If you're running too fast, you'll use up all your energy and that is no fun. 2. GET BETTER WORKOUT CLOTHES. Starting with a good sports bra. I don't like my ladies to…

All the cliches in the world won't make you feel better right at this moment but I will say: LIVING WELL IS THE BEST REVENGE. F'realz. Focus on yourself and your goals. My break strategy is always take the offense. Become too busy, pretty and popular to worry about heartbreak. I very recently went through ANOTHER break up…

Recently, someone told me I "shouldn't be exercising so much because it'll increase my testerone" as a result to my insomnia. HUH!?! I just brush all this stuff off. We are in control of our bodies, not them. Who knows why anyone says anything! I'm going to quote Jay-Z here: "everybody can tell you how to do it, they never…
