I'm not a fan of doctors, but that really is something to see a doctor about. I had similar pain and ignored it, and it was the start of plantar faciitis. Since I ignored it, it got worse and resulted in a heel spur (the growth of a piece of bone on the bottom of the heel) and incredible pain for several months. I was told…

Amazing!

Omelettes or cooked with garlic.

This. Even in my 20's I was so insecure about how fat and ugly I was, and when I see pictures now I can't believe I thought there was a problem. I'm significantly heavier now, but about ten thousand times more comfortable in my own skin.

That's a great victory! Your upper arms are enviable.

Wonderful! The last picture is brilliant!

Congrats!!! A single-digit size is definitely a fabulous accomplishment!

I have it, and have an inhaler in case of emergency. For me, it acts up with cardio, getting can worse the whole time for close to 20 minutes. Then I hit a magical (and predictable) moment when I'm breathing more freely than ever. However, I would not push myself to that point wthout in inhaler on hand.

I don't have children, but this is my 3rd (and final) time losing 100+ lbs - for me it was precription drugs that made my weight skyrocket. It'll come off again. As other have said, I'm sure your body's still recovering, but the weight will come off.

Good for you! If my tummy were so nicely parted down the middle like that, I'd rarely wear anything else!

For lunch I use the single-serve low sodium tuna pouches with a plastic fork, baggies of carrot chips or other pre-cut veggies, and a baggy of weighed-out nuts. It's kind of a random collection of food, but it's decent for me, filling, and takes about 2 minutes to pack.

What a great accomplishment!

I like a 6 oz container of plain Greek yogurt with a cup of strawberries or blueberries. I go through tons of it during summer and very little the rest of the year.

It's slower for me at 41 than it was at 29. I've just resigned myself to that and it's kind of lit a fire under me to get the rest of it off before it gets even slower.

Sometimes I forget to log zero-calorie stevia packets. Other than that, everything counts. Edit: ...and salt-free seasonings like blends or herbs.

I plan the following day after my last meal of the day. That way I'm sure what's in the kitchen, and since I'm doing it when full I make better choices. If I do it when I'm hungry it looks like I'm 11 and my parents are out of town...

You're doing an amazing job, and I can really see a significant diference.

Having a sweet and supportive husband is in itself a NSV! That's great.

Leftover protein and veggies from the night before are handy if you have a microwave available. When I've done that, I just season the lunch differently so it's like a different meal. I currently don't for dinner (it's in my car on campus between teaching assistant duties and an evening class) and use a lot of Flatout…

I say go in and make the best choices you can with the food, and then get on with the business of enjoying your party!

Outstanding!

Edit: I meant to quote the question of whether fish oil helps and didn't! Omega-3's are what make the difference by reducing inflammation. Fish oil is one way to go, so is flax, and it's just a matter of preference. A product in health food stores called Udo's Oil has the most neutral flavor for just adding to food, but…

I try to divide them pretty much evenly. that way I'm not hungry some of the time and stuffed others. I plan the following day's food after dinner when I remember what's in the kitchen. Using macros as the target for each meal while planning the whole day, it's easiest for me.

Cool, thanks!

It could be lots of things, like water weight from salt or hormones... One option would be to weigh & measure food logged this week just to double-check the accuracy of what you're recording. Outside of that, patience...

I'm new to the forums as well, and have found people to be generally helpful and supportive. If I see a thread (or set of them, like the 1200-calorie debate) that isn't useful to me I just skip it. There's too much help and support available here to get caught up in something that's not productive for me. That said, if…

I lost from my current weight to my current goal in 1999 and maintained for 5 years. 45 min goes lot further losing the first 50 lbs. Just by nature of moving a lot more weight around with any exercise, you'll burn more calories. It's well worth starting right away and building up to whatever you can safely do along the…

This is a great upbeat poll! Physically, I love my curly hair and my eyes. Otherwise, I'm funny and smart. Once I'm back in shape, I'll be pretty content overall.

My serious response is to just move on and take the lesson. Fasting to "undo" what's done is a setup for another binge, in my experience.
