I normally bike as transport, play roller derby, have a personal trainer and also go for walks / runs every week. Level 1 30DS isn't hard for me, but I push myself to perfect the movements, getting lower in squats etc, and I also upped my weights. I just keep pushing myself harder and harder and I do get a decent sweat up.

I love Runtastic. I tried Endomondo but for some reason it didn't work properly for me (I have no data or wifi turned on) as it didn't map out where I went or km done. I also use Impetus as a tabata timer, and also when I do "ease into 10km" as I don't have money to buy that app, I found out the times and just time it on…

I have Berlei Sports Bra. I am a DD, and it holds me, but if you are bigger it may change a lot. I believe this is the one I have http://www.berlei.com.au/sport-bras/high-performance-non-padded-bra.html#80=65&142=529 I went to a up market department store (Ballantynes) and I asked the ladies about them, as I had NO idea.…

I play roller derby, but do not have a calorie counter. I would like one as I would also like to know how much you burn, as even agility and breaking it all down can get a BIG sweat on. I would like to know calories in training vs scrimmage, and how much they differ.

Level 1 Day 6 complete. Upped my weights as well just for a bit of an extra push. Feel free to add me for support.

I do derby too, and still in off season at the moment. I have just started Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred which is great, I also mix it up sometimes and do the roller derby work out. I am now biking everywhere as my main form of transport, and I also have PT once a week who is great and helps me with stability etc as I have…

Level 1 Day 6 completed. Was going to go from 2kg up to 5, but decided to only go up to 3.5, which was great, just that little bit more of a challenge, but still able to complete with perfect form (just). Add me for support!

YES! It is all about doing your best and improving it each time. I have never been a runner, and started recently with "ease into 10km" app. I surprise myself how much I can improve between each run, and also each level.

Maybe use cans? Better than nothing, and a common household thing that wouldn't be too awkward to use.

You can stream the videos off Youtube too if you can't find the DVDs. The workout is about 28min in total including warm up and cool down. And you do it daily for 30 days. You start with the level 1 video for 10days, then the level 2 video for ten days, and lastly the level 3 video for ten days. Yes you do need weights. I…

I just put it in as a circuit training for 20min :)

I am too poor to join a gym, so I utilise what I have around me. I have started biking as my main form of transport (will only use car if it is a destination AGES away). I walk my dog around the river near by (can easily do 4-6km and not notice it), and sometimes I go for runs with a friend to motivate me. I am not a…

I talked to my personal trainer about this, well similar. Normally it is good to have rest days, but because it is not TOO strenuous on muscles you CAN do it every day, HOWEVER if you feel like you need a rest day LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!! I missed a day yesterday, but did 2 today (one in morning, and one in evening) as I…

Level 1 day 5 completed today. Squats and lunges are getting deeper for me. YAY! (I have really bad flexibility, so it is awesome to see it is getting better). Still doing easy "female" push ups, but able to push more out. I sometimes do feel like I get a little bored, but have been pushing myself a lot more the last two…

I am only Level 1 Day 5, but have had a personal trainer for the last year who I do circuits with. Weights: Only use what you can lift and finish workouts, perfectly!! without losing form!!, the whole way though. It is better to have lower weights and better form than higher weights and poor form. I started on 2kg (4.4lb)…
