I'd switch to dope to manage the pain and keep the cookie jar on a really high shelf. ;) Seriously, I like the booze too (regularly) but I do try to give my body decent nutrition too ... Eating so low isn't going to do you any good at all, pain or no pain. And will set you up for weight regain too assuming you manage to…

Yep, I eat it all, drink it too. ;) The fewer the rules the better ... Grains, legumes, dairy? Pile 'em up!

Habits and behaviour are a very big thing of mine right now, the reprogramming of the brain, setting new neural pathways, establishing new patterns. Calories in/out and all that guff aside I think that getting the brain in order is central to the process of getting healthier. Saturday? What does that mean? Just another…

Because time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. There is only now, right now. Personally I like to 'work out' every minute of the day, every day, to the best of my ability. I build the activity in, there is no weekend, just life lived to the fullest, every mother-funking day. As I said, there is only right now ... NOW! :)

It's a relative term ... If you are starving then any form of nutrition will fit the bill. ;)

Can you get them covered in chocolate? If so I'm on board. :)

Weekdays I skip all the eating stuff until the evening, then I stuff my face with whatever I feel like. I'm an office drone, not exactly digging dirt and burning energy, no big deal to go most of the day powered by some milk in my breakfast coffee. Skipping breakfast bad? Nah, very outdated thinking.

Every July. But I'm late this year ...

I have a vision of myself in the future, it does not waver, it isn't what I *want* to be, it is what I naturally am and will inevitably become. On a more practical level I have built in my exercise and nutritional choices as habit, I don't have to decide anything, it just gets done. It's who I am so I don't feel I'm…

It's still Team America - Montage. :)

Cooper's Extra Stout around here, Guinness when in Ireland. Don't mind the Kilkenny/Caffreys either ... Anything with a bit of substance, basically.

Most (daily) - Tuna, legumes, bread, ice cream, red wine Why? Because I'm worth it. Least - Leafy greens ... bad, I know. ;)

I have sex. Sometimes it involves somebody else too...

I try to save some room for carby pre-bedtime snacks (which will promote sleep) and also supplement with magnesium (a muscle relaxant).

Muscle wastage, my Granny is tiny.

I practice ISMCH (Intermittent Stuffing My Cake Hole), I can recommend it.

Another plug for the Allen Carr book, it does address the myths and 'it calms my nerves' is a prime one. Smoking just perpetuates one of the most anxious conditions it is possible to have ... I.e. the need for another cigarette. I agree with others when they suggest addressing the core issues first. Forget the possible…

I did it for 9 months, glad I did it because it sorted out my cravings but I am now on a more balanced thing with just as good results. I also eat more nutrient dense foods as a by-product.

I have been known to have more than my share but I do have to say that since getting in better shape I can tolerate less. I think this part of natural order of things, it's all good. :)

... relentless march to being awesome in mind, body and spirit.

I used to be a soccer goalkeeper, these days I prefer the more sedate pace of cricket. :)
-
I eat all of them. :)

Nice to hear we are still on talking terms despite my well documented dalliances and sometime obsession with the low carb world. Look all, take it from someone who has been down the keto path, there is no point to the average schmo cutting back on the carbs for fat loss. Really, there isn't. No fracking insulin storage…

I went through a green tea phase but my red wine phase has lasted longer. It's all cutting back on the intake and moving the limbs a bit more, and anything else is just details as far as I can work out. ;)

Suspend disbelief.

Spouts are the pits. And low alcohol beer.

I'm naturally low during the working week (I'm an office drone so not that active) and make up for it at the weekend. Or in this case, the long weekend = extra day of excess ... The weekly deficit is my goal. Having said that if I was genuinely hungry then I'd eat whatever day of the week it was. :)

Ephedrine is also banned in Australia. But yard work, coffee, sunshine and a decent work ethic aren't, so result!
