I have been doing zumba for a year now. For Xmas I got a hrm and my calorie burn is between 400 to 600. I don't know if I am getting much lower numbers since I have been doing it a while now.

I personally don't think a 7 year old is old enough to have a complex about having a Mom that is big. Maybe your self esteem is bad and your daughter is picking that up. Or she is just curious about your workouts and how you might change.

I have been doing body pump for about 9 or 10 weeks. It's a challenge and I like that. I only have experienced two instructors and one (who was subbing) tended to get more into it and use her Momma voice to tell ya to work it harder. Can't think of any other way to describe it.

Yea. It moniters my sleep but I only used it for a week or so. I just felt like it gave me one more chore I had to do to get ready for bed and to get up.

Yes. I wear it while workingout. I have a hrm and the burns are pretty accurate. I stopped logging the burned calories on mfp cause fitbit was logging them twice. So if I worked out at 2pm it would also log my activity at 2am which could get me in trouble with my husband. Lol. Just kidding.

I love the sauna. I find the locker rooms at the Y to be too cold. So I like to sit in the sauna and dry off and apply lotion. I use it for relaxation and its something I very much enjoy after my workout.

I won't say that my weight loss has been easy. I won't say that I have days where I want to sit on the couch and I won't say that I want to eat things that are not the best for me. I have had a bad week too. I really got to get a handle on my diet again. I don't want a bad week to turn into a bad month and so on. I think I am going to try to go a few days without any sweets since it seems to be where I am going bad now. Good luck.

I would love to join but not really possible for me to weigh in during the middle of the week. I do it Saturday morning at the Y. I used to do mostly zumba, some biking some walking and a little stair stepping. About the same tim I added body pump and the couch to 5k program. I am seeing results with my theighs slimming down.

High five for having the will power not to eat BK. Its one of the places that I haven't said I will never go but in over a year maybe twice. You have to have power over your own choices. I just bought the flat bread for the first time. First impression wasn't good but it wasn't very warm. Second time, I warmed my wrap up and it was really good. Will have to make me a pizza tomorrow. Yum.

I have let mfp set my calories and it was went from 2050 to 1700 over the year and then some. I eat in moderation. I workout and do cycle my calories so I don't sweat it if I am over a couple hundred if I had a day I came in under goal. I have had patience with the weght loss.

I don't burn 500 or more calories and set out to eat them. However, I do cycle the calories. If I come in way under one day. I know on a day like today where I work all day and can't work out. I can go over on calories and still have a loss. Its been working for me.

Mostly, I eat stuff in moderation so I don't have this issue. But like everyone else, I do cave and eat things that just don't fit into a 1700 calorie diet. Like a blizzard from Dq.

Personally I think its an advantage to being tall. We carry the weight well and most would be surpized at how much I weighed.
