I leave room for my snacks at night. Lately my go-to is greek yogurt. I freeze it and it's like having ice cream, but way less calories and a ton of protein!

Don't get discouraged! You have a long journey but it is totally doable and there will be support for you the entire way. Keep walking and you can slowly build it up as you get more in shape. Those workout videos can be hard, even if you are in shape! Keep eating healthy and being active and you will get there. Good luck!

I usually eat similar foods. Breakfast- fiber one cereal & skim milk or sandwich thin and peanut butter, or egg beaters and turkey sausage Lunch - turkey on sandwich thin, cheese stick, apple, carrots, granola bar Dinners have more variety. Some of my favorite meals are chicken with veggies, pulled pork, whole wheat…

I am a competitive person so I like competing no matter what it is. I have a bunch of friends who are also trying to work out and eat healthy and I take that as motivation. Whenever someone tells me that they went running or to a class at the gym then i'm like, I better do that too! It's all being friendly and never in a…

Go with what you feel. If you can eat only 1450 and still feel fine after working out, go with it. If you feel hungry, weak, grumpy, then add a couple hundred more calories with healthy snacks or more veggies and protein in your meal. I feel like people really stress not eating under your BMR but a couple weeks of eating…

Hello! I'm looking for friends and support as well. Anyone can feel free to add me! :)

10 pounds is a great loss in a month, especially with the holidays! I would say keep focusing on your goal and celebrating the small things. Try to get some rest and take care of yourself, that is the most important thing. If you don't have a perfect eating day, that's okay, don't beat yourself up, there's always tomorrow.…

I started eating greek yogurt for dessert almost every night and that has really helped. It's as sweet as a dessert and you can get whatever flavor you like, but no fat and it gives you good protein.

Zumba is one of my favorites! I have a blast while I'm doing it so it makes the time pass and I don't even realize that I've done an hour of cardio. Depending on your teacher the intensity of your class will vary, it also depends on how hard you push yourself. I'd underestimate the amount of calories you burn because I…

I eat cereal every day. My favorites are fiber one almond clusters or special k protein plus. I make sure to measure it out so that I only have a cup and then use skim milk.

I went to a class at my gym called R.I.P.P.E.D. it's a killer workout but I absolutely love it!

Depending on what you use bread for I really like sandwich things. They have 100 calories for both pieces and you can use it for sandwiches or toast and its only half the calories. You could also try keeping it in the freezer so that it takes effort to defrost it to be able to eat it.

I highly doubt it. It's not enough exercise or long enough to burn that many calories. It's better than nothing but definitely not what it advertises.
-
I don't have experience doing it myself but I would imagine as long as your under and over days average out to about what you are supposed to be eating then you are doing just fine. :]

When I was only eating 1200 calories I was always hungry, grumpy, and moody. After doing a lot of reading (which you will find all over the board) 1200 calories isn't sustainable for most people. I would recommend setting your goal at 1 lb a week instead of 2 and then it should raise your calories from 1200. I'm at 1460…

I have been going to zumba classes which are amazing and so much fun that you don't realize you are doing such intense cardio. On days when I go to the gym and don't do a class usually I do two or three different machines to keep me from being bored. I usually start on the elliptical and do 20-30 minutes. If i'm feeling…

I am also a zumba lover! i just wear any regular tennis shoes and it seems like that is what most of the people in my classes wear. Quite a few have the flatter kind (like nike free) and i'm thinking I will try those next time because they look lighter and might be easier to move in.

You are definitely eating too little. It isn't recommended to eat anything less than 1200 and with Insanity you should definitely be eating more. I know that it seems like eating less is the best option but it isn't going to be sustainable. I would recommend bumping up your calories a few hundred and then seeing how you…

If you are burning 2630 and only eating 1460 your busy just might not be getting enough fuel. Make sure that you are eating enough and getting all of the proper nutrients to be healthy.

I think that you should add back in the exercise. If it was working before then why would you want to stop working out? That will also probably help your metabolism. You also might want to try eating higher calories. It sounds counterproductive but I've read that losing the last smaller amount is sometimes easier with a…

I'll be 24 next month so I'm almost to a quarter century too. It's so weird saying it like that, lol. I'm looking for motivation from anyone and everyone so feel free to add me.

I'm at 1400 and would love to be friends, feel free to add me! Good luck.

You should definitely try it! Zumba is such a blast and the classes usually have a super supportive atmosphere. It depends on your gym but I know that we all clap for each other and encourage each other along the way. Nobody will judge you if you modify it for yourself and the needs of your body. It's so much fun that you…

As long as you track it and you are still under your calorie goals it's fine. Enjoy your treat!

Thomas' makes like english muffins that are 100 calories with high fiber, one of those with an egg and maybe a small piece of meat and you are getting plenty of protein and fiber to keep you full!

A lot of people say that it's not very good because usually it's not weight loss that you can maintain. It might work for a couple of weeks but eventually you will want to eat more and then you are more likely to throw the entire diet out of the window and give up completely. If you eat more like 1500-1600 then you can fit…

I took advantage of the salad bar. We had a grill where they make hamburgers and you could always ask for grilled chicken so I did that when I needed protein. Scrambled eggs are good protein in the morning or choose a non-sugary cereal. I ate whole wheat bagels and light cream cheese which don't have much nutritional value…

I would say that you can probably continue to gain weight and work out so that you can build your muscle tone. I would focus on weight lifting and avoid cardio if you don't want to be burning extra calories. You will already be burning some from working your muscles so make sure you are eating plenty.

Congrats on your engagement! Don't push yourself too hard or set crazy high expectations in the beginning. If you haven't been working out before then trying to work out every day will be hard on your body. I would try starting with 3 days a week mixing up your cardio and weights and then when you feel comfortable with…
