Is it okay?

To have not so healthy food occasionally of I stay within my alloted calories and don't go over fat and carbs?

for sure...I just ate a cheesecake pop covered in chocolate and salted carmel...even put over a bit but it was worth it...I have a 100 calorie cushion.
  • Thanks! Do you find it slows down weight loss?

No weight loss is determined by calories in < calories out not the kinds of food you eat....just stay in goal.

I eat between 1600-1700 calories a day...and lose on average 1/2lb a week which is great because I only have 10lbs left...

As long as you track it and you are still under your calorie goals it's fine. Enjoy your treat!

My dinner tonight was a huge homemade hamburger patty topped with 2 slices of muenster cheese, a poached egg, and avocado. I'm taking a low carb approach to my weight loss, but I'm still logging my food. Even with this 800 calorie meal, I was still under my calories because I had eaten smaller, lighter meals earlier today. Calories in, calories out, as mentioned previously. Enjoy your food, just keep it within reason.
