  • 6 years ago I drank regular soda, 3-12 cans a day probably. When I started getting healthy that time I moved to Gatorade and diet soda. I eventually cut out soda all together and just had like Apple juice, V8 splash, gatorade, and some water thought rarely. I had no desire for water and all the years growing up made me…
  • I am certainly enjoying watching this and getting a chuckle. I don't get this 1200, massive under eating, lunacy. I figured out through my own basic experience that eating more makes a difference. Eating 1800 cal/day+working out I would lose .5-1.5 lbs. The weeks where I worked out less and ate around 2200-2400, I'd lose…
  • Tennis. But not the everyday half assed tennis I see. I am by no means going super hard when I am on the court, but I am improving my game to a more acceptable competitive level. My buddy is now recovering from trigger finger, so we are only taking it slow at about an hour or two a week, never more than 75 mins in one…
  • I'm not really a gamer anymore, though I do hit up NCAA Football some... But I follow SC2 scene actively.
  • I feel MUCH more natural running barefoot. I occasionally do a light jog on my treadmill, my feet LOVE that. Biggest reason I want toe shoes for lifting and running, heh.
  • Yes. 100% best $50 of my life. I have heard someone else say it did nothing for them. It has a money back guarantee from the company, cannot miss IMO.
  • Had the exact same thought. Sometimes people should just, well... Yeah. I'll leave it there.

  • I'm feeling great today, sorry.
  • Okay that's all I've got. I've said my peace and I hope you get it turned around or get help before your body suffers some real damage. I'm out.

  • Your hair is falling out. can't get a better sign of malnutrition than that. Just focus on getting calorie dense good foods into you if you cannot eat more physical food. And if you can't get to at least 1200 calories at some point, seriously consider seeing a doctor. If you don't have that for an appetite, or close to it,…

  • This is a guy who's been on MFP for a year and has 12 lbs lost. Maybe you gained some muscle back, maybe you lost weight then re-evaluated goal, but given your picture I am skeptical of that. Eating back exercise calories is important, period. If you wanna give yourself a deficit over 1k, go ahead, you're losing lean…
  • Really doubt pictures are relevant here. A person going from 160 to 120 through this kind of eating is going to look unhealthy. Pictures are irrelevant. Get medical help if you can't eat anymore that what you are eating, you are killing your body.

  • Whole heartedly this. You sincerely need help, you may not agree or realize it, but you NEED TO TELL SOMEONE and let them make the call. Take your bias judgement out of it and put it in the hands of someone who you trust. You do not realize how serious of an issue this is. You are not "eating," you are scraping by with a…

  • If you are having this issue, you need to find calorie dense foods that won't be that much physical food, but will give your body calories to fuel it. Peanut butter is good, almond butter. I am sure there are plenty others, I just really haven't looked into this. If you cannot physically eat more, you need to eat better.

  • http://www.eating-disorders.org.uk/effects_of_under-eating.html Read this, sound familiar? Not going to be nice about this, but ****ing eat something. My girlfriend is 116 and same height, she looks perfectly gorgeous though I'd actually like her to gain some weight(eating well and getting into some training.). That number…

  • Not what you asked, but if you are bored with running... Something to change it up from a standard pacing running, interval running. This changes your paces up, keeps you mentally focused, puts you into a more competitive gear to push yourself each time, and also helps burn fat a bit better. Interval is something I am…

  • Rad this, immediately went "I bet she is under eating." Proceed to diary, yep, the one day you did okay you still had a 800 calorie deficit. Your body is not being fueled, eat more. Going from 1800+hard work outs+eating back my calories to 2200-2400 calories+working out less+eating back calories took me from 0.5 lb-1.5lbs…
  • I got plantar fasciitis last summer. Between being overweight, working on hard concrete floors all day standing, and playing tennis 3 times a week. It never subsided until I finally went to Walmart and tried Dr Scholl's thing, got insert, immediately fixed issue. By the next day I felt 100% fine, best $50 ever. I played…
  • 2 days after my first session w/ PT, still sore as **** and my weight has been up. Haven't even really been worried though. :D Great post Matt, ty.
  • You see yourself everyday. Lots of small changes over a time frame are hard for your brain to grasp. Side by side pictures are huge. See my profile pictures, I have a 20 lb side by side and I can MASSIVELY see the difference, and I haven't really seen it as much in the mirror as it happened. (I did notice my neck went down…
  • I'm not interested in dating someone who has a hair style like a guy. Length is gorgeous on women. This is my preference, clearly. If you like it, do it.
  • This sounds more like Plantar Fasciitis stuff for stretches. May work same, just know that is what was needed when I was having issues with that. (Dr Schools insole, fixed it immediately.)
  • Rest. Ice. Continuing to push will very likely hinder you more. (I recover through the rare moments when I got shin splints in my life at a very quick rate and just ran through them, I also have been a runner/active on my feet person from 4 years old.) If you continue to push, you can actually turn it into a more severe…

  • I'd go have a talk with the principle, but I don't have kids. Doesn't change opinion though, what happened is wrong, and when something wrong occurs someone needs to say something.
  • Nutrition is kind of important to recovering and feeling better between work outs. Just a tip...
  • I cannot believe people are really discussing this this much. Just drink some damn water and shudap.
  • Entirely agree. Regular soda, sugar stuff like Jello, just tastes so off to me now. I still occasionally do a diet soda and enjoy that, and sugar free jello is really good for me fighting a damn sweet tooth. But I feel like moving to a very heavy water intake that I now desire water a lot, stay well hydrated, and I am not…
  • Nice work sir, keep it up!
