Nice little run this morning.

Woohoo! Hubs got me a treadmill yesterday. No more battling the 20% grade that was killing my knees.

Lowering goal to 40 miles this month. I don't see my free time improving and with the changing weather even 40 will be a challenge. I hope life becomes more normal soon and I have more time to actually visit.

Failed to reach goal but at least I did something. Maybe someday I'll be able to quit working so much.

Ugh, busy month. I started a new job which means I'm gone 11 hours or so a day. I often walk at lunch. The hills near my house have been killing my knees. To go anywhere, you have a 20% grade for a couple hundred feet. It is actually the going down that grade that gets my knees. So I have been doing more walking than…

I think I'm ready to start up again. We had a crazy couple months of evicting former tenants, moving, cleaning, repairing, making a major decision to quit a job I didn't like and find a new one, waiting around while the job I really wanted had to delay decision making, and then thankfully having it all worth waiting for. I…

I don't always trust what I feel. When I have been running high then getting more normal feels awful. When they first put me on Amaryl I felt terrible when I was in the 80s and 90s. Now that I'm used to it I feel terrible when I'm above 120. I think that we need to accept that regardless of how hard we try, our numbers…

Somehow it is being another difficult month. My allergies are bad so running is tough. Time is short with graduation about a month away. Piles of legal paperwork, house paperwork, and job related paperwork not to mention school work. Ugh. I also know I do end up with some walking that I never really count since it is…

Had to work extra today so barely got a walk in this evening. The weather is back to being beautiful.

Some kind of bad run/walk today. Allergies and a toothache make sucking cold morning air in difficult.
-
Got in a short walk before work. Thought about running after work but it was pouring and I have an awful toothache so decided to come home and take a test instead.
-
I'm really trying to get back on track with recording things. I took a walk after work. Went around the lake 1.6 miles.

Hopefully this month will be a less crazy month. We are living in our 5th wheel trailer on a rented lot alongside a river. It is beautiful but cramped. Now that the weather is getting really nice it is easier to get outside. I'm in the last 5 or 6 weeks of my BS. I took one easy class and one normal class but have so many…

Total fail this month but I actually probably have tons of miles I never counted. We have packed and moved and unpacked, sort of. We got out of the psycho's house, put everything in storage, and are now back to living in the 5th wheel. There are 4 of us living in about 500sf of space. Ugh. But we are back in a peaceful…

Walking over the weekend. Went to Portland, OR and had beautiful weather. Wandered around downtown twice and also walked the property we are buying. It's not big but we went back and forth quite a bit.
-
Been super busy. Not even sure what all I got the miles from. I think I walked a couple and ran a few.

Sara, that is so awesome! I love meat so would never go vegan but I always wondered if you could have good BG control. Up until a recent med increase even a small serving of boiled beans would send me well over 200. It is good to know that I might be able to safely increase my bean intake without having problems.

Weight day today. Did do a little over 3 miles walking while reading a textbook. This quarter it is Organizational Ethics, my last real class for my BS. The other class is filler and is outdoor activities so it mostly consists of doing stuff, talking about doing stuff, and taking pictures of doing stuff. Easy Peazy.

Thanks for the hug Dave. I needed that. I don't know why this kind of stuff happens to us. Strange things always happen and I never can see a way to avoid them. We rented this place because it was the only place we could afford that would take our pets. There were only about 5 rentals in this area at the time. It quickly…

All my good intentions and still so little exercise. It has been a bad week. We were evicted because we asked the landlord to fix the broken water pipe because we can't afford $500 water bills. Instead he informed us that not only do we need to pay the water bill but he is moving another tenant in and we have to pay their…

A little short for last month. No finals this month although I have started classes again. This is my last quarter and I have one reading/writing intensive class and one fun class, outdoor activities. Part of my homework is to log my activities somewhere like mfp! Yay, easy homework. Along with working full-time it is…

Thank you for the encouragement. I'm very type A and hate missing a goal. Especially one so close. I finished taxes but still have estate paperwork this weekend and to start reading textbooks again. Last quarter.

After 15 years of met it still sometimes happens to me. Yes, eating something, anything, before taking will help. So does the extended release. I have a friend who needed to take the 1000 mg instead of 2 500's ER so that the release was a little more controlled. My other thought is have you taken your BG when this is…

I believe mine is completely hereditary. I get it from both sides of my family. No one has ever gotten it their 30s except for me. At that time I did high impact aerobics for an hour a day. Often swam, walked and did physical labor regularly. I ate lots of fruits, veggies and whole grains. I was a little plump but not…

Don't think I'm going to make it but it will be close. Being sick earlier in the month and having finals just really cut into my exercise time.
