A smile and a hello are a fine start. Other than that, be confident and follow one simple rule. If you wouldn't be okay with someone speaking a certain way to your sister/mother/aunt/friend etc, don't speak that way to me or any other woman.

Remember that your weight has nothing to do with who you are as a person. Also, realize that if whoever you're seeing can't get past your weight, then maybe they don't need to be part of your life.

Contrary to what my skin tone may tell you, I'm Greek & Armenian. Also, despite people telling me I look innocent, I have a filthy mind and an equally filthy mouth.

I think the worst thing anyone's ever said about my weight was actually directed to my boyfriend while I was standing there next to him. Someone asked him if he had to roll me in flour to find the wet spot....needless to say, that brought on a richly deserved verbal beat down.
