For me - it's not really any particular food. Rather, it's ANY kind of food within arm's reach of my desk at work. I can't, for instance, put a cookie/bagel/muffin, etc. on my desk and think I'll only eat half. Nope. Before I know it, I have absent-mindedly eaten the whole thing (which double sucks because I haven't even enjoyed it or recognized that I'm eating it!).

Nope. If I don't intend to eat it, it need not be on my desk! ha.

Hummus, particularly different flavors and chips that go with it or pita bread. I did pretty good last time but did go overboard. Honestly, I could have ate the entire Trader Joe wheel! lol

Wine. Never can have just a glass or two... its pretty bad. I do have wine once or twice a week too... lol...

    - Chocolate
    - Peanut Butter
    - Chocolate covered Peanut Butter
    - Peanut Butter covered Chocolate

Fortunately for me, I know that if I REALLY want any of it, I can have it. It's just better if I keep them out of the house for now... they tend to get in my mouth...

a regular bag of potato chips.

i cannot touch one single chip or i find myself coming to from a black-out binge, hunched over my sink, eating chocolate chip morsels cause it was they were the only sweets in my apartment to counteract the salt.

nearly a year since i started and i have not purchased one single bag of potato chips.

    i respect their evil power.

Anything and everything, except hard boiled eggs and liver! I could eat a whole bag of chips, a box of cereal or, 5 or 6 servings of last nights casserole. I'm not very choosy!!!

Omg... I thought about closing my diary because of the nights where I have logged "12 oz. of vodka" and "12 oz. of cranberry juice" :flowerforyou:

Ha! That's definitely a relief to hear. But you know, I'm in this to lose weight, not to become a martyr!

Yeah! No martyrdom here (did I spell that right?). I am just focusing on having those nights be less and less. I know the less nights I drink (even if within calorie range), the faster I will lose. BUT life has NO MEANING if I can't have beer with my friends on a Saturday... or wine on girls night... or a stiff drink on a Friday night relaxing with my hubs... or go to wine tasting... or a beer tasting... or a Morgan's and coke after a rough Tuesday at work... or...

Certain cheeses and I have to watch myself around chocolate too - I don't keep it in the house. If I want a bit and can work it in, I go out for it, but if I kept it in the house I doubt I could resist :)

    1. Middleswarth BBQ Potato Chips! If I even smell them you will find my head at the bottom of the Weekender size bag.
    2. Craft Beer (stouts and porters).

Funny how well the two go together. :drinker:
