Agree workouts can add temporary weight + you temporarily have a more pumped up look. Pretty sure its water cos it goes after couple of days.

Cannot do cake mixes, too allergic to artificial additives. I'll do a search tho, might have known this question has been asked 100 times before lol, we didn't get where we are today by avoiding choc cake :smile:

No probs at all til I got very very sick. Last thing on my mind during years of recovery was getting on the scales! Towards the end of the recovery period I hit the menopause too, suddenly noticed my clothes were getting tighter, got on scales for 1st time in about 6 years and I'd put on 20lbs. Now i can't seem to shift it…

60 here *puts hand up*. Yes it is a lot harder as u get older but amazingly folks do manage it, even with some pretty debilitating health conditions to deal with.. It's quite humbling ..and inspiring !

It's a help, like any other physical workout. For me one thing it has in its favour over other workouts is it makes you feel really really good for less physical hard work.
