I can deal with rain as long as its only 9months of the year, not 12months which it was last year. It does actually lift your mood to get out in it as long as its not lashing gales & you have some good clothing. I think it's a terrific way to meet compatible ppl, certainly no worse than the usual hit n miss, at least you have a chance to test the water first with emails and phone calls. Just take sensible precautions, but then u would do that in real life as well of course. Have fun!

It's that time of year, I hate it! :noway: We just got over Norovirus & now I have a sinus infection! Listen to your body, do what it asks & forget cal counting til you have recovered, you often lose lbs when u r sick anyway.

I painted and sold portraits for years til it caused RSI! I've had to find something else to have fun with, I got into jewellery making recently, also water base oil pastels, use them like crayons & go over with wet paintbrush - really gorgeous effect, vivid colours.

Jan, I took a pic of it to a physio and she said she though it was a good idea, just check its the correct power settings, which it is. I had no other info with me at the time so she couldn't tell me more, but I'm going to double check with my GP next week, make sure it's ok before I buy. It does have good reviews tho.…

ach.. I always do that when I have a cold, your bod really seems to need the extra cals. But summer's coming, no more colds, so it won't trip you up for at least another 6 months! I say forget about it! - it never happened :)

I think it's a very primitive instinct, your bod wants to mend itself and it needs more nutrients/energy to do so...its a b*gger tho if you keep getting repeat infections! winters are bad for weight loss in my book - can't wait for summer!
