All my exercise is walking. I get to work an hour early and walk and then I go out again at lunchtime. I've been doing this for nearly a year and I walk around 8-10 miles per day. It works for me.

Worth every penny. Mine has given me the motivation I needed. Plus it syncs to MFP automatically which just makes life so much easier. Without it, I wouldn't be where I am now, it's as simple as that.

I think that you're not eating enough. 1,200 calories isn't enough to sustain your body, especially with the exercise you're doing. Calculate the calorie burn and make sure you eat a good percentage of it back.

When I was a lad, it was always breakfast, dinner and tea. As I got older, somehow it changed to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Inside, I still think breakfast, dinner and tea. Essex born.

It works perfectly for me. In fact, I do it every day as I eat utter rubbish and want to earn the calories to continue doing it.
-
I've done the 100lb thing and would be happy to be your friend - Request sent.

crystalpotts: yes

I find these things difficult - Mid to late 30s?
-
Because eating nice food is so much fun!

When I was fat, my mum used to keep on at me to lose weight. Now, she keeps telling me I've lost enough and that I should stop. At 14st 8lb (204lb), I've clearly not lost enough weight and I'm still marching towards my goal. I just let it wash over me.
-
Does walking for weightloss work? Yes. My goal is five miles per day, most days I walk nearer eight miles and often up to ten miles. I still eat all the old rubbish I used to but I now calorie count using MFP and with the calories returned through my walking, I've never gone hungry. My ticker below is surely proof that it…

I'm in the UK and always happy to have active friends so anyone can add me. Please just add a little note though so I know you're not a spammer :-)

Yes, I'm in the UK and always happy to have active friends. So add me if you're active but make sure you put a comment or two :)

Yeah, why not!

Nope.

I did change mine to times but changed it back again when I realised that whenever I looked at my friend's diarys that it applied my headers to their entries which made things pretty meaningless.

No, I don't really have complicated patterns. Breakfast varies from 07:45 weekdays to 11:00 on weekends but lunch and dinner are generally the same times. I was just picking wide windows. What are your six brackets, I'm interested to see them.
-
~Yes - It'd be nice to have another person who's lost over 100lb on my friend list.
-
I wouldn't be without it and I do eat a big chunk of calories back.
-
Another Brit here - I live in Essex and work in Suffolk. Always happy to have active people as friends.
-
Oh well, dead group.
-
I'm a guy and I'm doing OK so feel free to add me. I may not participate much but I'm always watching.
-
I've just done what you're trying to do so I've added you as a friend. Good luck!

I work in Ipswich and travel there every day. I'm generally striding up and down through the town centre every weekday at lunchtime to get my exercise in so I've added you.
-
Let's do this - 1966 here and added you.

Yup, Essex here too. Somewhere between Clacton-on-Sea and Frinton-on-Sea.
