Same here well not in the aspect of having a kid. but i've been fighting the last 20 lbs for 4 months. its crazy how it can come to a stop.

Use to be type 2 with a lot of work i changes that to being diabetic free Changing my food habits didn't do it alone for me. Working out played a huge part. After i lost 44 lbs I was not longer type 2. It can be done and it does take time and a lot of hard work and self disciplined

Thanks for the tips. I went and watched one last year. Looks like some take a lot of time switching between swimming and biking. Any tips on making it faster. The problem is the swim is in a lake and when you come out you have to run across a sandy beach to your bike. Then you got was your feet and lace up.

Thanks again everyone. It was a good year can't complain. Once you get past working out as a chore and start enjoying it it makes it a lot better. Got to find something you like to do. I did it all with only 30 mins of working out a day. It still amazes me how much better I feel.

Key for me less reading more sweating. I never seen anyone loss weight reading. Walking running weight lighting. Eating clean helps a lot. He's just trying to postpone it.

Im type2 but got all my meds about 4 moths ago. I think a lot has to do with working out and losing over 40lbs I cut all junk food. But still eat carbs just in moderation. Just stay after it and keep that A1C dropping your doing awesome.

Hi there! I was 3 days from surgery and backed out the best decision I ever made. Yes I went to all the classes and met with a dietician for 6 moths did it all. I need to look in to a spartan race. I come from Northern MN and the toughest thing up here is winter. I did my first warrior dash last Aug in hastings MN and found it to be easy.

I also did it . been smoke free for 1.5 years and have lost almost 70lbs in the 7 months. Takes a lot of dedication and will power good luck to you.

You are going to find new pains and aches. Your doing new things to your body that is not use too. Just take it easy I did c25k on the treadmill its a 8 week program but it took me 12 starting out your going to need rest days i wouldnt push yourself to hard to fast. Its not a race. You got this. Good shoes help alot.
