Just in case anyone is as skeptical and uninformed as I am about Zero calorie products, I received this reply from Walden Farms' customer service in response to my inquiry into how something can be Zero calories..."Regarding calories, please note that our products do contain trace calories (anything less than five is…

Shirataki Noodles

Thanks Chelle. Because of you and your post about these noodles, I have successfully sought them out (both the Tofu and non-tofu kind) and eat them nearly every day. I like using the Tofu kind in the Hungry Girl Fetticcini Girlfredo and the non-tofu kind added to green onions & minced garlic sauteed in butter flavored…

Great recipe below...note that I have also used different flavors other than Lemon. Also, my tast leans toward Dannon's Oikos. Mini Cheesecakes – Adapted from Healthy Foods for Living Ingredients: 8 oz fat free cream cheese, at room temperature 2TBSP Splenda Sugar Blend 1/4 tsp vanilla extract 1 large egg white, at room…

Small Gala apple slices (or baby carrots) with two TBSP of reconstituted PB2 for dipping.

Not a bad choice. You could have done a heck of a lot worse! I hope you enjoyed!! :drinker:

Just looked up the beef substitute...if you use 1 lb of 93% Lean, 7% Fat you will only add 120 calories to the above recipe - which equates to an additional 12 calories to each meatloaf muffin.

I found one yesterday for Meatloaf Muffins but it contains ground Turkey. I altered it a bit to my own liking. You could substitute by using ground beef instead of turkey but I don't know what the calorie difference will be. MEATLOAF MUFFINS 1 lb 99% fat free ground turkey 1 medium onion 1 medium red bell pepper 1 large…

LOL Forgot to list the chicken!! Chicken Rollatini  Mushrooms, 2 diced  Kirkland Signature - Frozen Chicken Tenderloins, 16 oz  94% or 95% FF (Godshall's/ Jenny-O) turkey bacon, 1 Slice (chopped in small pieces... bacon bits would also work)  Sargento - Light String Cheese, 1 stick chopped  onion, 1 tbs…

My weakness is Orange Beef. When I indulge, I have 1.5 C of Orange Beef, with 1/2 C steamed white rice for about 356 calories. I usually start off with 1.5 C of Hot & Sour soup for around 150 calories. Eating the soup first helps control my tendency to overindulge on the rest of the meal.

Good for you!! I am proud of you and hope to have the same will power and drive!!
-
Not sure if this helps you but I keep a few Hershey's Mineatures (or something similar) in my work desk drawer. When I am feeling like I need that piece of indulgence, I grab one and add it to my snack tally. Other times a piece of SF gum and a walk to "walk it off" helps. Either way, you will be fine. This too shall pass.…

Speaking entirely for myself, when I feel guilty about eating something I know I shouldn't have eaten (usually an inappropriately large portion size), I tend to get miserable and angry with myself and sometimes take it out on those whom I love and love me the most. That's just me. :-)

Glad to hear that I am not the only one who need policing. I love the fact that I can plan my day's intake in the morning and tweak it throughout the day to to make better choices or even cheat a little and still stay within my calorie goal for the day. Thanks for sharing!
-
That's me to a "T"! I find this approach to weight loss much more realistic since this is teaching me to make better choices either through substituting or portion control. I do need "policing", though. That is why I joined MFP. I need to be held accountable for what I eat and facing my computer screen every week at weight…

Look at some of the others' recipes on this site. You will be surprised at the multitude of creative alternatives you can find and adapt to your taste. I found so many recipes that are helping me (and my husband by default) that I eitherfollow to the "T" or alter to my own liking. Use of the recipe builder helps to make…

Congratulations on your success. You look great! Thanks so much for sharing your journey. You are inspirational!

Keep going and don't ever look back! Your progress is commendable. Be proud of yourself. We all are!!

We all have those days. It has been my experience to listen to my body and have a little something extra in moderation. Don't go crazy with the portion size of that little extra something but do indulge. The key is moderation. Enjoy!
-
You go, girl! Congratulations!!
-
So happy that you both took the high road. I am proud of you both!!
-
I will pray for you.

If I didn't know I was not cyberskirt, I would think I wrote that post myself. I agree 100%. I have MFP open at work all day and run to my laptop when I get home. I like planning my entire day's food intake early in the morning and making adjustments along the way. It helps me to make better choices and when I make some…

AMEN!! THANK YOU MIKE & ALBERT!:flowerforyou:

I eat one packetof plain oatmeal with a packet of Splenda and chunks of half of a small Gala apple mixed in. Then I eat the other half of the apple throughout the morning. Total calories are 155. I also switch it up sometimes by making a breakfast sandwich with an Arnold's bagel thin (110 cals) and three egg whites fried…

Please make sure you are within a reasonable weight range. The reason I say this is because many years ago, I was so fanatical about losing weight (not through healthy heating habits, though, rather through starvation) that I did not see that I was falling into anorexia. I saw myself as FAT and would get so angry at my…

I'm proud of you, iddreams. You stood up for yourself in a dignified manner. you did not stoop to her level. Peiople like this poor woman are so sad within themselves. She needed justification for maintaining her unhealthy state and mistakenly chose to pick on someone whom little did she know had already done a great deal…
