  • I am in the same boat....I'm 45, really started focusing on what I was eating, made it a point to exercise a heck of a lot more, and it is not coming off as fast as I would hope. But I know that I am on the right track. Stay with it.....keep moving....we'll get there together! :flowerforyou:

But even if you do something...perhaps it is not a full fledged workout...you go for a walk or take a ride on your bike....something is…

Congrats on loosing the 7 pounds....but more importantly I hope that whatever you are going through...you will beat it. All the best to you!!!! :flowerforyou:
  • Normally I have been doing cardio first and then strength....but today I tried the strength first and then the cardio....for me I burned more via cardio and had more endurance to muddle through cardio. It really is all up to what you are comfortable in doing.
  • Getting a heart rate monitor with a calorie burner counter is your best bet to get an accurate reading of how many calories you are burning.
  • I am very sorry to read your post.....I hope that soon you will find your way back to a place in which you are happy and that you are able to smile again. • Do you have any advice for women who are 45 years of age....who has had two lower back surgeries...who is trying various exercise plans in order to see some tangable results to her efforts. • Unfortunately this is a subject that I know all to well. I have had two lower back surgeries....I recently had a scare that I would need a third....Luckily it turned out not to be the case...but that was the last straw for me and decided to get in shape. Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home programs are the best. She has a number…
  • I don't see why you can't do the program.....but I found something that she is involved with that I like a whole lot better. It's the Biggest Loser Cardio Max and Power Sculpt DVDs. Both men and women are in the workout. There are three levels...each level you do for two weeks. You can see brief excerpts of the videos on…

You are doing everything correctly....watching what you eat...exercising...getting enough rest....and you see nothing. I have been there....actually I am still there. But you cannot give up on yourself. Like some have said it…

  • If it is between Insanity or the 30 DS....I would pick the 30DS for your Mom. However I must admit that while in the process of doing the 30DS....I picked up the Biggest Loser Cardio Max and Power Sculpt DVD workouts and I enjoy that much better. Still have Jillian....she still kicks your butt....but I am leaning towards…
  • I can't jump rope either....but the invisible jump rope routine is something that I have also seen in my workouts and it really does get your heartrate up....so yes...jump!
