No, you're not the only one. I frequently change sodium levels to what they're supposed to be. for example 0.2g is 200mg. Not 2000 or 20 or 2! And sodium levels are given as mg/g on food labels, so yes here it is measured in that way. Why else would the database give it in mg also?

I prefer the Wii fit Plus - because you can make up your exercise routines and keep going one after the other with muscle workouts or yoga or combine things. I'm no expert but from reading up a lot of things weight-loss and fitness related, it sounds to me like you don't need to try and eat less, but you need to get lifting some weights to get toned.
