  • Holy crap...they make peanut butter cheerios??!! :drinker: I usually have plain cheerios and maybe once/twice a week treat myself to honey nut...might need to get the PB ones and try them out!
  • Yesterday I had a mean craving for junk. I made myself a mug of chicken bouillon + hot water and it did the trick. I know it's high in sodium but I drink a ton of water so in my mind that equals out a bit (don't know if that's scientifically true but whatever!) I just got a cheap container of bouillon granuals and keep it…
  • I try to have a fruit or veg with every meal, sometimes two servings. Snacks I try for it, too. I try to plan the veggies first and work my meal around those, since veggies are more difficult for me than fruits. Right now frozen veggies are my friends, I add steamed veggies to everything--pasta, Lean Cuisines, etc. I use…

  • Nicely done!! Keep up the great work!!! :flowerforyou:
  • I have a recipe for Ranch Chicken, too, and was just thinking "Hmm...I wonder if something else could be sub'd for the ranch?" Ta Daaaa!!! Yogurt! Thanks for the tip, it looks yummy!
  • IMO, you need a bigger breakfast. I think you'll do better if you have a good breakfast, then a small snack before work, then eat a good lunch after work. That's a hard shift to work especially when you're hungry!! Good luck :flowerforyou:
  • I don't exactly have a "success story", but I've been doing WATP for ~7 years off and on (more ON now!) and I love them. I did them while I was pregnant with both of my kids, which really helped me! My kids (5 & 2) love to do the 1 & 2 mile videos with me, my 2 year old ASKS me to put it on! Talk about a motivator!! I use…
  • I use laughing cow on everything!! Steamed broccoli + light swiss LC cheese Scrambled eggs + veggies + LC LC and crackers LC on a sandwich LC on a baked potato LC on pasta + steamed broccoli LC on toast or an english muffin (I call it my cheater's grilled cheese) The possibilities are endless!!
  • I always meal plan for the entire week first, then I make my list. I have to do this, otherwise I'm stopping every night after work and that usually leads to poor choices and a snack bag of chips! What is on my list every week: skim milk cheerios (plain and honey nut) wheat bread wheat tortillas laughing cow string…
  • I started Jan. 4. I had lost 11 pounds, but then had my birthday weekend this past weekend and kind of over-did it...now I'm "only" down 8. :blushing: BUT, I am confident I am back on track already and I'll lose again at my next weigh-in!
  • We have "brinner" a lot, too!! I have cheerios, milk, banana, and coffee + creamer every morning. To be honest, I miss eggs but my cholesterol likes cheerios better. Good thing I like them, too!
  • I have many! To see my collarbones again! To see someone I haven't seen for a long time and have them say "Oh my God, I didn't even recognize you! You look FABULOUS!" To find a swimsuit that I look great in!
  • START NOW. Pick yourself up. Wipe the cookie crumbs from your shirt. Carry on. I know what you're going through, don't give up! Keep logging, keep on truckin', and get rid of those evil cookies!! :flowerforyou:
  • I'm eating half of a baked sweet potato with a drizzle of honey and it's darn GOOD! Very sweet. Yoplait Whips has a chocolate flavor that's really good, especially when you put it in the freezer!
  • I try to get my fruits and veggies in for snacks, since they're so hard for me to get in normally. One of my fav's is boiled cauliflower, mashed up, a little butter and parm cheese and salt = tastes like mashed potatoes. Or carrots and light sour cream w/herbs I add in to make a dip. Or a big piece of fruit (oranges are…
  • I call mine "treat days". I weigh in on Tuesday mornings, and the rest of the day I eat whatever I want. I know that sounds gluttonous but actually it's getting to the point now where I no longer crave EVERYTHING bad. For example, this past Tues. I had my treat day, and by the end of the day I was feeling blah and…

  • My weekends are Sunday/Monday. The first part of Sunday is filled with church, so that's easy, nothing there to tempt me! I plan plan PLAN my weekend food. I weigh in on Tuesdays, I do this on purpose so I "can't" goof around on the weekends. We try to do something fun with the kids on Sunday evening, go for a walk…
  • I either do the frozen banana "fake ice cream" thingy (I add skim milk to mine, too), or I get one of those yoplait Whips chocolate yogurts and put it in the freezer. I love it, and I can't just gobble it down because it's frozen solid, it takes me a while to eat it.
  • Heck yeah!! You can see such a difference!! WONDERFUL!! You're an inspiration, thank you for sharing!!! :flowerforyou:
  • Once a week on my day off, I make a crockpot soup for my lunches. Taco soup, chicken noodle soup, pea soup, lentils, etc. Pair it with some laughing cow cheese on either crackers or a low cal/low carb tortilla, some fruit and a veggie. Wraps are good, too. Yum! I guess we're all saying if you plan ahead you can do this!…

  • I guess I need to try kale! My go-to items: generic cheerios, bananas, oranges, apples, grapes, skim milk, laughing cow cheese, generic honey nut cheerios, coffee, fat free creamer, yogurt.
  • Clashing undergarments or not, you're doing a great job and you can tell!! Nicely done!! :flowerforyou:
  • If I have a Lean Cuisine or similar, I add at least a cup of frozen veggies to it before I cook it. It bulks it up and is really yummy!
  • Have "Veggie Fridays"! Lentil tacos w/lots of lettuce and tomatoes, soups, whole wheat pasta w/veggies, stir fries...yummy!!
  • I have high cholesterol, too. I've added lots of fruits and veggies and have cut a lot of meat out of my diet. Do you know what helped me? Cheerios. Breakfast was my trouble-meal. Eggs, cheese, meat...love it!! But I had to cut that out. So now I have cheerios every morning. There are a variety of flavors, and I add fruit…
  • Nice job! And thank you for posting pictures, it IS motivating to see such great success!! :flowerforyou:
  • Mmmm...I'd actually eat the carrots right now if I had any! Ran out 2 days ago...booo! LOL on running to the bathroom! I'm doing the same thing today. I'll meet you there in about 3 minutes! I'm glad I'm not alone in this, I just feel like the whole day has been a struggle!!
  • I like the idea of having a high fiber cereal around! Thanks! Any more ideas out there??
  • Yup, I hear ya...mine was 1999...oy!
