I always workout at home. P90x, p90x2, which you can modify with what you have... or check out cathe.com. She is awesome, and you can just buy individual DVDs, based on what equipment you have, and what you want to do.

Same reason they are mean to animals. They lack compassion. Don't take it personally, or stay here in the vegan groups!

I'm on your side OP! I haven't used a microwave in years, and don't miss it at all. But I've learned that people don't like being told what to do....especially when they are cranky from not meeting their nutritional needs.

Im so sorry for your most tragic loss. The best way to cope is to allow yourself to grieve...whatever that looks like. (for me it was being very anti-social for about 6 months) It won't be pretty and some people may not understand...but those people don't matter. A new pet never takes anyone's pace, but in time we can…

This is no nutella...but when I need a quick chocolate fix, I take a medjool date, take out the pit, and press the sticky inside with some cacao nibs. Superfood!

I am quite small, and spent my twenties and half my thirties not wearing a bra. When I see photos of myself now I am quite sorry! Sure, I "got away with it" and some people might have enjoyed seeing me whenever I got cold, but NO! It makes the whole look of an otherwise cute outfit look unpolished. It just doesnt work.…

Got two new bikinis this summer that I actually feel good in, and recently I did my first un-assisted pull-ups. I love being 40!

Corn! lemony cornmeal muffins with blueberries or raspberries or fresh corn! Or all of the above. Yum!

Highly recommend the Lifeline Revolution band for assistance

Tundeke, 20? Skin!

I'm pretty sure the default macro settings are NOT 40:30:30..if you get the phone or iPad app you can see your pie chart and it will tell you your goal percentages and what your diary looks like that day. I find this a very helpful tool to plan my eats for the day. It also helped me to keep shaving off my once liberal use…

I disagree that vegetarians miss out on any of those foods! There are vegan versions of everything...that can even taste better if one takes the time to find/make them.
-
All great suggestions....but you could lose your muffin top TODAY by wearing pants that fit.

I'm vegan, currently eating both cooked and raw food. I've been mostly raw for months at a time, and I worked in a raw vegan restaurant for years. I found making cultured cheeses, dehydrated items, and other "fancy" raw food to be good in only serious moderation...for entertaining, roadtrips, etc. but for everyday eats-…

I hate to be the potato-party-pooper but some people might need to avoid potatoes because, as a nightshade vegetable they do contain high levels of alkaloids, which can worsen inflammation. If you have arthritis, for example, potatoes are unfortunately not a healthy addition to your diet.

Um.... VEGGIES! U might BE a veggie, but I didn't see many in your diary. Kale, salad greens, broccoli, string beans, etc. plus almond butter, tahini, hemp seeds...you can easily meet calcium and iron. I also like to supplement with vega all-in-one protein shakes.

Wear clothes that accentuate your waist, and flare out at the shoulders and hips. (a-line or pencil skirts to show off the curves you do have / structured, well-fitting blazers / puffy sleeves / belts at your natural waist or higher...they can help give the illusion of a more hourglass figure.)

Here's one little gun in my profile picture ;)

It takes time and energy and practice to do anything well. Becoming vegan is no different...but it can be more than worth the effort. I've gotten really good at meeting my nutritional needs...which are now those of an athlete! Thrive by Brendan Brazier, and his Vega nutrition line are great vegan resources too.

Before joining this site I hated my thigh gap because the tops of my inner thighs have a bit of a bulge. There is still a gap between the bulges because of the way I'm built (been called bow-legged and duck-footed) but I always WISHED my thighs touched so you couldn't see this unsightly bulge! On first observing the…

I also never eat meat (or eggs or dairy). and I usually get between 90-100 grams of protein every day. I also easily meet my iron, calcium, protein, fiber and vitamin goals.

Microwaves destroy food anyway. Bring a thermos of soup if you want something hot.

I've been vegan for years, and in my experience it works best: 1) to let people know what you are and are not eating 2) clearly state that you do not expect to be catered to 3) come stocked with lots of protein bars, smoothie mixes, seitan jerkey and nuts (so you're not just eating salad) 4) show your gratitude if they do…

You can do it ladies!!!! And it is so worth the effort. I am a very narrow shouldered, petite, 40 year old and I just achieved my first un-assisted pull-up this week! I've been using the Lifeline revolution band during my P90x2 workouts. About a month ago I started doing "negatives" (going as slow as possible on the way…

Devacurl products are the best! And Get the Curly Girl handbook! It not only transformed my hair...it radically changed my life to take care of my hair and celebrate my curls. I use no-poo once a week, one condition daily, and an-gel for styling. Note: both profile pics that show my hair are of slept-on or post wwork-out…

I did my first un-assisted pull-up!!!!

Un-assisted chin-up success!!!!!!!

I do it, and I love it! I use vega all-in-one nutritional shake (vanilla chai) yum! I also mix plain pea protein powder into soups and dips.
