  • Karen- Good points! Also, this is really random but do you know why certain posts you make don’t show up when you go to your recent posts?
  • I am still undecided.. it is definitely different from anything I have done before! I, too, like high paced, high intensity exercise, but am willing to try new things and see how it impacts my body. I am putting my trust in Tony and his professional staff that everything in the program is for a reason. I am certainly not…
  • Okay, I know I’m late on this.. but I wanted to give my thoughts on Yoga X2 which I did yesterday. I liked it, wasn’t sure what I was going to think, hearing such different opinions. I felt like I did better with moves that I normally suck at, like the half moons and crane. I actually held crane for about 10 seconds!! I…
  • Rappala- I had to blow up my stability and med balls a lot more.. and I found it made it easier.. but I certainly still struggle with balancing on it though! Yes, week one is done! :)
  • I thought it was good, I think it's my favorite so far! Even though I watched it, it took us some time to get the moves. There were some I didn't do that great with but I tried my best. I love the last move the best. I never did ARX2 on Thursday so I might do that right now. Lots o' core today! :)
  • We are about to do this right now.. I'm a little scared, looks like a lot of balance moves!
  • I am going to try to do this tomorrow.. I was at the hospital all day yesterday with my sister who had a baby so I did not do it. I want to though!
  • Oh I meant to comment on that.. about Dreya.. she looks awesome and seems to have more personality in this one.. like she is more comfortable or something. Know what I mean? Glad to see her back! Hm, will have to check that out about the lunges.. I honestly did not notice the difference!
  • Yes, Karen, thank you for highly recommending doing this workout, otherwise I might have skipped it. I agree that it takes time and is silly for warm ups. I also like to get “warm” in a warm up too, get the blood pumping before the workout, so foam rolling doesn’t do that!
  • I was able to do the side arm balance on one ball we have.. I have two 8lb balls but they are different companies so they differ in size a bit and I think they will be squishier no matter how much air I pump into them. My husband has a 12lb ball that is as hard as a basketball that I could do the side arm balance on (which…
  • Good workout this morning, I struggled with some of the moves, though. The crunchy lever pull ups were really hard, the way my pull bar is makes it difficult to do, too. I sucked at the med ball pushups/ side arm balance, one of my med balls is a bit squishier so I sunk into it. I ended up just doing them on the floor so I…
  • I wore it, just out of curiousity, and logged it, just to be accountable that I did it! :) Okay I love the foam roller, I cannot believe how such a seemingly simple tool can make such a difference! I have knots in my calves and triceps that I didn't realize were there, it killed! In a good way, though. I am definitely glad…
  • Would you wear your HRM or not even bother?
  • I did not wake up this morning to do it, but I plan on it later. I don’t want to skip it, which I always did with Stretch X, but I am curious to see how it works. I have heard from a couple people not to skip it. I am having some lower back pain so I definitely want to use it on my back. I am really craving running today…
  • I agree, I love that it is not repeating the same sequence.. and there were moves that my HR was definitely high up there! The roller part is weird.. I had some pain in my lower back and I think it helped with that, but otherwise if you don't have any particular areas that "need" rolling, I can't see the point of it.
  • Hi guys! Just finished Core.. I liked it, although my burn was low because I was paying more attention to getting the moves down. I never got a chance to watch it first, so I had to learn as I went along. The roller part was kind of weird, we skipped through a bit of it. I could see it being more effective if you are…
  • Karen, I did ARX2 tonight for the first time.. it is different.. I can't say I think it is harder, just different types of moves. I liked it. I want to review more of the workouts before starting on Monday. It is Core right? Excited to start something new, I was starting to get a bit tired of P90X. What is your new eating…
  • :) The times look pretty similar to the first, except yoga being shorter, wonderful!
  • I still need to read through the fitness guide.. I only looked at the nutrition guide which seems to be similar, you stay in whatever phase for as long as you see fit, not necessarily in the different stages.. that's how I read it anyway. We watched how to bring it again and plyocide.. it looks right up my alley! I was…
  • My name is Emmy, I started on MFP in August 2010 to lose the rest of the baby weight, I had my daughter in May 2010 and was back to pre-baby weight by Oct/Nov 2010 (Thank you MFP and P90X!) :) I have done two rounds of P90X, in my 7th week of a third round right now. I am a runner, but my goals are to focus more on…
  • I have not gotten any emails, nor has my CC been charged. Haven't bought a plyo box either. I don't mind, as long as it is here by Jan 2nd, I'll be good to go! :) That's awesome you got the info.. do you remember what day you ordered it? I wonder if they are going by that, the sooner you pre-ordered, then you would be…
  • Another BB coach had told me that yoga is shorter, too.
  • I'm not sure what those are either but I should probably look into it if they are needed for P90X2 huh! I am looking forward to it! I won't finish this round of X until mid Jan, though, so I plan on starting it after that. Are you going to start it right when you get it?
  • Yes, Jess, I already did.. 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fat for the first phase. However my goal is 188g of protein, which is so high. I have added a protein shake in the morning but I still think I will have a hard time hitting that amount. It is also hard for me to keep my fat at 20%, it adds up quickly some days! If I…
  • Thanks everyone! It made sense to eat the 1800 no matter what and not eat back exercise calories. I wear a HRM and keep track of calories burned so I will see how it compares anyway. I pre-ordered P90X2, too, I figured I would do a round beforehand to get myself prepared! :)
  • Great job Chris! You've worked hard and deserve it!
  • Congratulations! That is quite an accomplishment, keep up the great work! BTW- It is nice to see a pic of your face, under that mask on your profile! :) :)
  • Awesome job! Inspiration for me, I have similar stats! :)
  • WTG! You looked great before but it's crazy how you can see a difference with 10lbs. Definitely inspiration for me! Any tips on what you did differently to lose those last 10lbs?
  • Awesome results, very insipiring, you are my height and at my goal weight. Just curious, did you ever stall in your weight loss, if so, what made you push through and continue to lose? WTG!!
