  • I completely agree! You can FF through the BB advertising but not the warnings and it drives me nuts sometimes!

  • The stability ball, nothing with the med ball.. but you don’t even use that too much.. you do moves standing on one leg, or you can put your foot on the ball, but to me, that’s easier. You do tricep extensions while lying down on the ball, which I like. You do this shoulder move while lying face down on the ball. It is 7…
  • Did this workout this morning, I definitely like it, too! I completely agree about that guy singing! Tony was in a good mood, and funny! He doesn’t annoy me in this workout, sometimes in the first one he would. Or maybe I am just used to him now! :) The girl in it was doing the QVC commercials with Tony a couple days ago,…
  • Thanks for posting! I was curious how it was, I have not previewed it yet. I loved arms and shoulders from the first X, so was hopeful I would like this one, too. I set it up, thinking I was supposed to do it today, but realized it is a rest day and I plan on going running later anyway. I am not 100% sure why a rest day is…
  • Seriously that is how I felt! I would make sure to give yourself extra time for some of the moves.. it took me a while just to get up on all 4 med balls, never mind then do the push ups! Same with the med ball/stability ball pushups, the decline stability ball push ups (using a chair.) You really have to engage everything…
  • Karen- I felt more like when I did chest and back for the first time ever.. but then I was weak and out of shape.. it just goes to show that any new workout can be challenging, even if you think you are in decent shape! Even in the beginning of phase one of X2, I did not feel as hopeless and pathetic as I did last night!…
  • Thanks babe! :) Karen, I will do that.. I am debating, do I order it anyway and keep looking for something I could get sooner, or wait on ordering it? Well I just suffered through chest and back. Not fun. I felt pretty pathetic.. I could barely do some moves, like core crunch chin up, Lever, the impossible/possible,…
  • Well I'm bummed, just went to go order the chin up assist, they are out of stock, and not available until April! I will be an X2 grad by then!
  • Ohpiper- What did you think of phase 2? How were the workouts compared to the first one? Karen- You know of people who skipped phase 1? Yikes, in doing it, I definitely realize now how it is important.. even watching chest and back last night, you can see how your core is utilized more so than the original X.
  • Will do! Is everyone going to phase two for week 5? I know you and Gina aren't.. anyone doing another week of phase one?
  • Uh oh, that stinks you hurt yourself! Hopefully it goes away quickly! I did this for the last time yesterday, it went really well! I am behind, still have not done Total Body from Thur or Yoga from Fri, but my husband wanted to do balance and power so we did. I should be doing yoga right now, actually! Looking forward to…
  • That’s awesome that you are able to continue your workouts while away! Dreya looks awesome doing every move! Lol Is anyone noticing physical differences in their body? I think my core is a bit tighter and I feel a bit leaner in my chest/collarbone area, kinda weird spots though! not sure… I have a hard time noticing…
  • Thanks, I didn’t think it was her! Funny how they have two Shauna’s, though, that are both super flexible!
  • I agree Karen, I love this one too! I must get myself one of those assist things! I did this this morning, never was able to get it done yesterday.. I did many more of the boing push ups compared to last week, same with the push ups on the med ball, side arm balance. I am SO much better on my right side than my left.. at…
  • 80g of protein so far today, not including dinner.. had a shake this morning already!
  • Did Plyo this morning, it went well. Wish I got more than 6 hours of sleep but I was able to get through it and push myself pretty hard anyway! I am having back/hip issues on the left side, though, I rolled it last night and it felt so much better afterwards but it hurts again today. Not sure if my form is off or what I am…
  • WTG everyone!! Will be doing this tomorrow morning! Hoping to feel back to normal and well rested too!
  • No way, nothing wrong with asking for that for V-Day!! :) I ended up doing this workout tonight... plyo tomorrow. Man I needed it, and I plan on doing some more rolling on my calves and back watching TV, too. Has anyone thought about what a neighbor would be thinking if they ever looked in your window and saw some of the…
  • Nice! I think you can pretty much get the same effects as the workout without having to actually follow it, kwim? I attempted to do the same thing watching TV last night but it killed and is going to hurt even more today, as I am sore in my legs and left hip from my long run yesterday!
  • Balance and Power done, week two, done! :) It went well, the hardest move for me is the plank X crunch, I just lose my balance and don't get it right. I did better than last week, though, so that's what counts, right? Tomorrow is supposed to be a rest day, but my husband and I are doing a long run.. he is on a running team…
  • Karen, I know huh! Time has flown by! That’s awesome that you noticed improvements, I think that is the general consensus from everyone, which is great! We all kick *kitten*!!! ;)
  • Funny this is your decision, because my husband and I were talking about doing exactly that! Sounds good! I am bummed I didn’t get those workouts.. we got the lowest package, not realizing that those workouts didn’t come with it, we just didn’t need to get all the equipment! I really like balance and power, too. In fact, I…
  • This workout went much better tonight! I did a lot better with the push ups on the med balls and I actually did some of the boing push ups on the stability ball.. last week I just sunk into it! lol My lower back is hurting though, anyone else experiencing that? Tony mentioned something about if you are not engaging enough,…
  • Mine too! I am much stronger in my legs than my upper body! It kills me that I still cannot do an unassisted pull up!
  • Well I have been posting all along, but I wanted to say that I think this week is going better than the last, and I will probably stay in it for another two weeks, I think. I have decent balance but I would like to work on my core a bit more. I don’t know if I will do a recovery week, though, depends how I feel. I will…
  • Gaspegirl- Great burn on total body! I cannot do those crunchy pull ups either.. I just busted out as many as I could for regular pull ups. I really want to order that chin up assist.. I think that would help. We really need a new pull up bar.. ours is just a generic silver pole that sucks to get a good grip on. I just…
  • I found that it killed on my triceps, and I did not even realize those muscles were sore! It affected my calf muscles most last week. Looking forward to doing it tonight after the kiddos are in bed. My hamstrings are sore right now. Hm, can’t think of who you are talking about but I will check her out tonight!
  • Honestly, I have been the most sore the day after doing Yoga X2! I am definitely not as sore as I am when I started P90X, but I have found that I have mild soreness in unusual areas. I have a feeling my legs will be sore tomorrow from what I did during Plyo this morning!
  • So we are going to continue to post on the same threads started, correct? Plyocide, week 2.. I did so much better than last week, it is amazing how just being more familiar with the moves makes such a difference. I was able to up the intensity, which I love! Definitely feeling better today!
  • Core went much better yesterday than the week before! I felt better doing the moves, I was even able to do the med ball plyo push ups, think that is what it is called. I didn’t even attempt them last week but I tried and found I was able to do them! I have a hard time with the stability ball burpees, I think it is. I fall…
