  • Thank you. Sometimes rules are made to be broken!
  • Cabfjb1980, I really like that idea of yours. I think I will apply that thinking to myself. Thanks!
  • RANT: Was bad and ate 10 salt water taffies out of the bag I bought for son to replace the ones I ate a couple of weeks ago! BAD!!
  • Is this a new group, or the Wednesday check in I started a while back? I am so confused! LOL I confuse easily though. Well, I am not doing a weigh in, but will report on my week. I was wishy washy this week AGAIN! Ok some days, no so others, but I really am getting my right frame of mind back slowly and hope to report…
  • Hi Lynda, I think if you go to settings and unclick the boxes that say send an email when.......etc that should work. Or at the very bottom there is a box to check to not receive any emails from MFP. Hope this helps.
  • It is ok that you chimed in today. I just started this the other night when I was "mad". LOL Last night it was late when I did it. I know lots of you are in a different time zone than I am, so if you feel like starting the rant or rave, feel free to do so.
  • Been a fairly good week. 2 weeks ago I started to do my elliptical or stationary bike in 5 to 15 minute increments throughout the morning. It is working out GREAT! I have done 80 minutes on the elliptical. Could not do that at one time, that's for sure. Have not lost any weight this week, but I am ok with that. I need to…
  • @debneedsto, Sorry about the bad news on the MRI for your back. I hope the exercises they gave you help to relieve some of your pain. I know all to well about back issues! Just keep on doing the exercises. Good luck with them
  • HI Lyndal816, I loved your story.LOL I thought you were the momma, then boom! it was about you. This can be a struggle at times, but if we keep at it and pick up each day and start new, we can do it. If you slip one day, chalk it up to learning and be glad we have a clean slate the next day and do better. Good luck in your…
  • grandmothercharlie, I love that. I might have to get one for myself. Glad you posted this.
  • grandmotherch, good job on no binging! That is a lot of miles walked, good for you. Rebamae, so glad you got your head on straight. Can you please let me know how you did it? LOL Good job on the scale doing a downward move. I bet you can make that goal of being where you were on 6/15. If not, don't give up. I feel as long…
  • What an amazing group of losers! Sorry for those suffering ailments.53welsh I can relate to you not wanting to take antibiotics. As a nation we have taken so many, that now there are "super" bugs that antibiotics won't touch. Hats off to you for knowing better. 10 days is a long time to suffer, but that is usually what it…
  • Wooken, Where are you moving to? Leaving AZ? And,yes, how the heck can the year be half over?? I need to know, I really do, so when you find out, please tell me! LOL
  • My goal for July is to get back here and log and try to really do good from here on out! Would be nice to lose at least 2 pounds too, but for now, I am just going to focus to getting back into a good routine.
  • Hi cjlandmann, Welcome to the group. We are a fun group, I have to admit, I have not been as supportive as I have been in the past, just a few things going on in my life. Congrats on the wonderful loss of 50 pounds! That is wonderful. The ladies here, oh and a few men, are wonderful at cheering people on, so continue to…
  • Hey fellow losers, I have read over you all's comments and wow, do we have a great bunch of peeps here. Bikers, runners, walkers, etc. And the losing just keeps happening. Keep up the good work. When I first posted about doing a weekly check in, I was not sure who or how many would be interested and I have to tell you how…
  • That is a very long time without food. I wonder why you could not have a small breakfast since it is so late in the day. Good luck with the surgery! I know you will do just great.
  • Hi all, I did ok last week. Exercised 4 out of 7 days. I have lost 4 of the 10 pounds I gained back, so happy with that. Not in one week though. This week I hope to pay more attention to what I am putting in my mouth and to exercise 5 out of 7. I also want to do more walking, now that I am able to. Have a great week and…
  • Howdy to all the wonderful new members of this group. So good to have you all here. I see many excellent goals for the month. I wish us all luck in achieving them! It CAN be DONE!! My goal is to really get back to logging my food each day and not forgetting. I have a habit of keeping track in my head and forget to log…

  • Hi steppingstone and alexandriaben, That was my idea from the get. Just a Wed (date) check in. ker was kind enough to get the weeks going and I think without realizing it, by putting in Weekly check in and then the date for the whole week, everyone thought it was a daily thing. I will message her and ask that if she does…
  • Hi all, I am hoping by saying what I am about to say does not step on toes or upset any of you. Well here goes. When I first brought up the subject of a weekly check in to see who would be interested, you all were, which was awesome. But......my idea was for it to be once a week on Wednesday. Come in give a quick update on…
  • Hi Chuck, I was not winded and it actually was a pretty good pace. I stopped for a few seconds halfway through and did some butt kicks to stretch my quads and then I rested for about 2 minutes at the Plaza. Hip did not complain at all. Today though, I am achy all over LOL I have been really tired the past few days , more…
  • Good job ker for doing that walk while you had the shoes on. Good thinking on your part! Wanda, sorry for the weather, but oh the green must be so beautiful. Hopefully weather will go good soon. And happy for you to be doing restorative yoga. Sounds interesting. Jean, your trip sounds amazing and I hope you have safe…
  • Good day all you lovely losers! How did the week go? I hope you stayed on track. I did ok. lost nearly a pound! I did exercise 5 of 7 days, so that is good. I also took a mile walk yesterday by myself! First time since having my hip replaced in March. It felt so good to walk that mile. I was walking a mile every day before…
  • Ok I think for May, I will get back into exercising at least 5 days a week and hope to lose at least 3 pounds. I have to start my mind set back to being good and watching what junk I put into my mouth!! Today I walked for 20 minutes at a fairly good pace for the first time since getting the new hip in March! Felt so good…
  • Hi hayleyandpaig, I have one of the DVD's. It is fun. I have the 3 mile one, but only have done a mile. That was before I got my hip replaced. Soon, I will be able to do the 3 miles. It is walking, marching in place, using weights (or canned food) and lifting your arms up and down and sideways. I enjoyed doing it. After a…
  • @Tobybear1, you are welcome. @Rebamae, you too are welcome. Glad you found it. To record it, go under aerobics and record how ever many minutes it took you to do them. I have to tell you though, the calories burned here on MFP are off according to my HRM.
  • @Wooken, thanks for the graphics again. @smilesback,good job! @gramanana, enjoy the fun @jean. you are welcome. I can actually do the marching. It has been a part of my PT and I think I can do the knee strikes. Will try carefully.
  • Hi all, Reba I know what you mean when you say you need rain. I am not a farmer as you, but us here in California are in a drought and our farmers are suffering. We have had some storms off and on end of March, but now we are in the high 80's where I live. Today is one of my best friends bday. She lost her daughter in Dec…
