Pizza is an amazing incentive!!

Thanks for the advice... I think mainly it's about not lying to oneself e.g. secret eating... I've lost a fair bit since i've stopped pretending that drinks don't have calories in them. lol

I am a veggie yes. Yeah I just let MFP work out my plan. It set itself quite low. Perhaps I'll increase it.... not sure i'm organised enough to do a menu plan. What is a macro? I could try your salad ideas in the weekend meals. Week has to be kept very low prep as I work long days. I love cheese, so I will try and get…

Thanks... your ideas are really really useful... I love the idea of going to get random food and then learning how to use it :0) ta very much - yes I am a veggie.

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/littledante my diary link... it says it is public in the settings but hey ho

That is strange... it says it is public.. Yes perhaps they are a little too low. I know, I hate the bad and good language... it is so easy to slip into using those terms. It is quite good creating recipes.

Mainly because it seems to be about fast weight loss - I am a believer in slow, sustainable and whole foods for diets.
-
Just had a look at the diet... definitely not for me! lol
-
Franc127, I wanted to eat nuts for the protein as I don't like eggs but perhaps having them with something else is the way to go... I have never heard of the ketogenic diet before Alee145
-
Yes didn't have nuts today - it helped - they were not that filling.
-
Useful thank you
-
lol... may try ice in the wine to make it look like more wine

Oooh that is really helpful... where did you get that info? Suggests I can eat 66 grams of fat a day... I was just trying to keep it down as MFP suggested 40 grams a day... plus really unhappy with stomach and thighs :0( but I find that 40g is too little and have to have a piece of filling fruit (e.g. banana) to keep me…

Yes definitely feel that if I am to maintain my healthy diet then I mustn't get bored, so I am keeping in things I love and removing crap I don't care about e.g fizzy drinks. This seems to be working so far... have lost 5lbs... still early days... may have to cut down on something I love eventually. Diets in the past that…

Oh my.... that is very interesting.... slightly depressing... but very interesting and useful. Thanks...

ha ha ha ha That would be lush stitched on a pillow moyer "If it fits, I sip"
-
hee hee yes an easy meal :0) is it very high in calorie?
-
It's the lack of chopping ynaturally that saves time, and it is really yummy and involves no bread! Any ideas for yummy salads anyone? If people don't mind spending the cash for ease of being healthy, the pre-prepared salad/fruit section in Sainsbury's is awesome. If you have a busy time consuming job (this includes being…

my alcohol only comes up as calories and nothing else in the data... is that right?

and it's yummy

Good plan RiverMelSong

ha ha ha ha hilarious  any plan that involves only drinking champagne is bound to end badly... still love it though x
-
Yes sweet rose/white or beer are my downfalls.... is gin lower in cals then?
-
Yes! Trying to use it as my one daily treat rather than as a drink in addition to a treat... seems to be working so far :0)

I'm a ER Nurse so I can relate to the need to eat things that are quick with minimal prep time. :)[/quote] Yes my mum is a nurse and my sister is a midwife.... NHS careers tend to sap time and energy... dieting very tough under these circumstances but not impossible... have to make a few clear and simple rules for myself…
-
Yes and so simple!
-
It was very yummy, and all fat in it is healthy fat e.g. avocado and raw olive oil in pesto. I like minimal prep time as I am a teacher.
-
Good luck - keep going :0)
