Donkey kicks targets the butt. You get on all fours, lift your leg, bend that leg upward to 90 degrees, flex your foot and kick up towards the ceiling, like you're leaving a footprint on the ceiling, do 8 times 3 reps, repeat on other leg or alternate. Another exercise on all fours: lift your leg out to the side at 90…

I love, love, love group classes. I used to go to the gym and do the treadmill and elliptical machine and was bored to death. I started with a Zumba class and now all I do is classes: Zumba, turbo kick, muscle works (which is all weights) and PiYo strength class. I love them because I don't have to think about what to do,…
-
Wow, it sounds like you had a bad experience with group classes. But you shouldn't discourage someone else from trying them.
-
Don't get discouraged. I go to a turbo kick class and my instructor is overweight and she shares her weight loss journey with the class. She keeps us informed on her progress, whether she losing or not, and encourages us to stay focused and look to her class for inspiration. We all love her for it. I was skeptical at…

I have a hypoactive thyroid and have managed to lose 35 lbs. I have to thank my doctor for the dedication he gave to me concerning my weight. If you are having weight issues, consult your thyroid doctor immediately to address your medication first and any other questions you have a physician should be able to help
-
Congrats on your new found hope, it's very hard to come by. Good luck on your healthy lifestyle journey. Just remember, it will take a lot of dedication and a lot of patience but if you stick with it, the weight will come off.

Feel free to add me, I log daily

This!

We all fall off the wagon, it's the determination to get back on that counts. #Nevergiveup
-
Sounds just about right to me

I was over 240lbs, which was my heaviest also and am trying my best to get down to a healthy weight. So, I know how you feel. Congrats on your weight loss and feel free to add me so we can motivate each other. I pretty much log daily and will offer any support and/or advice needed to continue your success.

I'm 48 with a hypo-active thyroid and managed to lose 30 lbs in a year, (my ticker says 20 but I've never adjusted my weight). I've been on a carefree meal plan keeping my calories between 1200-1350 regularly and eating mostly fruits and veggies with small sweet snacks. It's very hard for me to lose, but I just keep at it.…

What's the fun in stopping cheat days. LOL! Everyone needs one every now and then and once a week is just right. Plus, all the experts recommend them.
-
I know what you mean when you say you like to be encouraged, it's a great feeling. I log in daily and look at my feed daily and would love for you to add me as a friend so we can encourage each other. Great job on the weight loss and great job motivating yourself. I'm sending my friend request.

You just proved my point, I wasn't being mean, I was being observant and taken aback with all the anger from the first few posts. So, if your post wasn't angry then I wasn't talking about you, get it
-
Wow, there's a lot of anger in some of your posts, which was not what I expected when I looked at the topic. Which is probably why the world is so misguided and violent. May I suggest therapy, and not on this type of forum.

Hey OP, Someone in this thread said you needed attention, maybe they weren't too far off, just sayin' LOL!
-
 LMAO

This!
-
Yeah! Totally agree!

I choose the latter, especially if it's a great show. Of course, you can't totally live like that, but I plan around my favorite shows. I enjoy tv just that much. LOL!!!
-
Netflix can't ruin the big moment. By the time Netflix gets a tv series, the shows has already ended and/or climaxed. Netflix gets the shows and movies after they come out on dvd. So if you're watching a tv series weekly, that season will not be on Netflox, therefore it can't be ruined by Netflix. The tv shows aren't that…

You can add me if you like, I'm on a mission to lose at least 30lbs. I log on everyday and my diary is always open. I don't do meal plans, I just cook my own meals, nothing diet-y, if that's even a word. I cook regular food, with lots of carbs and proteins, eat fruits and veggies and regualr snacks. I don't eat smoothies…

:frown: I'm jealous...I'm on a 1200 calorie meal plan and ice cream rarely fit in my diet, especially if I want to feel full.

Those variety of greens must simmer much longer than an hour, they're not like spinach at all. If picked fresh, you have to wash them leaf by leaf, then add twice as much water to fully cover the greens for simmering, and season to taste with salt. pepper, onions and cooked bacon or smoked turkey. That's the southern way…

Of course, and you should probably buy more than one pair...they wear pretty quickly with daily use.

UHHHHH! I don't know what site you've been logging your food and exercise on but people come here to lose weight. It may be an underground dating site, from some of the posts I've seen or something else, but MOST people are on this site to lose weight, whether YOU want to admit it or not.
-
The real question is.....why have you been on here with different accounts?
-
That's why the have men's skinny jeans. So the OP can still look sexy, pants and all
