We actually had the Maggianos cake for our wedding cake bc no wedding cakes we tried could top it (our reception was at the Buckhead Atlanta location). Huge slices and amazing taste. According to the wedding coordinator there, takes days to make. Love! Very rich and not something you could eat all on your own. Probably a…

My ticker is set to 1200 but I eat from 1500-2100 regularly bc I love working out so I have plenty of calories to burn ;). Edit - maintenance not maintained. Darn…

You can actually add breastfeeding to your "exercise" and it will credit you the extra calories you need for breastfeeding. How many calories depends on the age of the child and the number of children you are breastfeeding. :). And of course, if you notice that the calories set are causing a decrease in milk production,…

My heart rate skyrockets when I work out but is on the lower range of healthy when I don't. Asked a my doc and was told that the goal range on fitness equipment a is just silliness as it doesn't apply across the board. I was told that as long as my heart rate returns to normal healthy levels within a reasonable time ( I…

My OBGYN told me while I was pregnant, "Next time your sitting on the couch and want a pint of ice cream, maybe you should go workout instead." This because I had supposedly gained 4 lbs instead of the 2 lbs I was suppose to gain that month. I say supposedly because I later figured out that the tech had not zeroed the…

Body fat is decreased through cardio, muscle mass is increased by strength workout. So you sound like your on the right track by doing both. Since muscle weights more then fat (by volume) if you continue or increase your workouts you will likely see those changes in measurements that you want without neccesarry losing…

Current weight and height are factors. As is age. Unfortuately our metabolism tends to slow with age. 1200 may not be a good number for you if you are shorter, slighter, and older. If in doubt, consult a physician or other professional!
