been there done that waste of time. lost five pounds and gained it back the first two days i ate normal. tastes great at first.... but same shake twice a day repeatedly by week two i was nauseated at the thought and could not choke another one down!!!! You could always try beef tenderloin it is more expensive than most cuts but it is really a lean cut of beef. Also far better tasting imo

I agree, I used quintet and read cares book also. I quit 7 months ago gains 10 lbs in first month then maintained for awhile now weigh less than when smoking.

I would consider looking more at something like canada food guide to ensure you are getting the proper nutrients rather than focusing on calories. But then again what do I know I gained 70 pounds during both my pregnancies.

I have reset my goals to 1 pound a week which gives me 1400 cals a day. I figure i will try this for awhile and see how it goes although i am thinking at this level i will try not to eat much of my exercise cals back. I have two small kids as well and work full time. I usually exercise frpom 9 at night to 10. Then can't sleep cause I am too wired from exercise.prob not helping with being tired

I always struggled with weight and lost 60 pounds in my early 20s and kept it off until 2 kids and quitting smoking. I find i maintain about 153 relatively easy so that is my goal.
