I have charge 2 and it over estimates my calories burned by at least 500 every day. My tdee is around 2000 most days but it keeps telling me it's 2500. So it wants me to gain weight!

I decided to turn off step counting on mfp so it doesn't do the adjustment because it just overestimates so much.

Yes, I did all that. It's just that I'm getting too many calories left over to eat and I'm not sure if that's correct because on mfp I'd always get less than 2000, depending on exercise.

Thanks so much for your reply! I exercised this morning at 9am. That kind of makes sense! I'll still make sure I eat about 1700 cals for days like these until FitBit does its thing.

Good, I did that. I'm getting the fitbit adjustment now on MFP, it's updating it throughout the day. But the exercise I recorded on fitbit this morning is not recording. I just joined this group. I have a new FitBit Charge 2 and I can't get it to sync to MFP for the calories either. I tried what daj150 said and it didn't work. ALthough I cannot find where to disconnect MFP from FitBit app at all. After I did steps 1-7, my FitBit app still had my meal calories in it so I'm not sure if it…

Gah, I need my breakfast first thing in the morning. Although, right now it's cereal which doesn't fill me up because I have a 4 month old so need something quick. I usually would have a protein pancake and that keeps me full most of the day so I don't snack. If I didn't have my breakfast I'd eat all day.

Yes they are! I get mine from Costco so they are a little bit cheaper than at a regular store, but still more than eggs.

I make similar pancakes but instead of eggs I use egg whites from the carton. Yum!

My starting weight was 175 pounds and at the end of the challenge I was 169.8. I'm happy with that since that was my goal. I'm going to continue into September with everyone. My new goal will be another 5 pounds gone for september and see how that goes.

To convert rpm to km/hr you need to know the radius of the bike wheel in meters. Then multiply rpm by the radius and multiply result by 0.06. No idea how to estimate calories though.

I didn't give in to the cravings yesterday. I knew I'd be hungry in the evening because I didn't have protein for breakfast and hardly any for lunch, but I managed to not eat over my calories. Learned the lesson and had protein for breakfast this morning.

I love my treadmill. I go for about 40 minutes jogging on 4mph. Other days I do youtube videos. Zumba is my favorite. I also have Billy Blanks Tae Bo videos. I will also be trying this iphone app called 7 MWC. IT's a seven minute workout.
