My name is Casey, Diagnosed T2 in March of this year (2017) and have been on metformin 2x daily. I have been fairly successful in controlling it with diet and exercise. My highest reading since I started tracking has been 144, usually I'm about 85 two hrs after eating and about 105 fasting. It has been a lifestyle change…

I started Taekwondo at 420 pounds with a very understanding instructor. Do what you can do, your body will tell you if you are doing too much. At 23 your body will keep up with almost anything you ask it to.

King's stuff was better before he got sober, it's a terrible thing to say but it's the truth.

I'm Casey, I also practice Taekwondo and am a 2nd Dan (2nd degree black belt). I started training TKD at the age of 35 and 420+ pounds as a way to get fit and spend time with my son. Since then I have lost over 100 pounds and gained a ton of self confidence. I just recently was asked to start a TKD school and with the…

I forget what comedian said it but he said that the anti-gluten crowd has gotten so bad in California that you could rob a bank with piece of bread.

A friend of mine looked into buying a PF franchise. The cheapest buy in was 200K PLUS all the equipment and you have to do their cheap membership rates. not sure how anyone makes money on these things.

You've been knocked out by one of your best friends

I was 420 at my heaviest. I don't drink any calories, that is a huge step. You don't need a gym at this point, just be HONEST with your food log and move. I actually joined a Taekwondo class at 420 and couldn't do most of it but the instructor is great and encouraged me to keep trying. I have since dropped nearly 100…

I'm fortunate that mine is not severe enough to limit me a lot so I mostly do Taekwondo(second degree black belt) and walking. I have lost nearly 100 pounds with just CICO and these two things.

I'm Casey and have Ehler-Danlos (Hyper Mobility type), thankfully it's pretty mild and does not limit me a lot. Mostly the arthritis that comes along with it that slows me down.

Mine was 11.8! I have been taking my metformin, eating right and checking my sugar every day. I hope it goes down significantly at my next check in August.

The common sense diet, Calories in VS Calories out. It really is that simple.
